If u want to blame any presidency for any economic failure. I expect nigerians to blame 8% to GEJ, dats the structure he meant on ground.. Blame those who put those bad structures on ground... |

[quote author=Kainene77 post=44961793]One question Mr Ex-President, where is the money that was made when the economy was booming? Where are the savings that would help Nigeria and Nigerians make it through the rainy days? Why did other governments build up reserves, why didn't you? I am not sure who is more clueless, you or Buhari but you have this in common, cluelessness. [/quote Ask Amaechi, fashola,Aregberascal nd ods selfish governors to say y dy disturbed him in other to colectomy the SWF he was saving nd yet the didn't pay salaries till date collecting loans 4rm mumu buhari day don't know governance |

Most of what he's counting as legacies are not true legacies and simply illustrates how out of his depth he was. For instance, the point about being the largest economy was largely a reflection of the fact that the statistics were updated during his presidency. Boasting about having Africa's biggest billionaire is silly in a country with endemic poverty especially where that billionaire reflects rent-seeking in our economy. |

TonyeBarcanista:He is beholden to the rich Did you hear anything about school enrolmment infant mortality? per capita GDP We know Nigeria became the largest economy through rebasing Let Jonathan's supporters tell us where the economy would be without Rebasing If rebasing had been done earlier, Yaradua would have take the claim Nigeria became a net exporter because of Obasanjo's policy - if you are not building a cement factory, you cannot import TonyeBarcanista:FOI law was forced down Jonathan's throat. He signed it 2 months before the election of 2011 Same for the N18,000 minimum wage What do you mean by phone call - that was under Obasanjo Please can you mention the roads Though I commend your objectivity above |

Why didn't he count massive corruption as one of his legacies? We've never had a good leader in Nigeria yet. We only have thieves and murderers as "leaders". Buhari is another corrupt ab*oki who is bent on northernization of everything Nigeria! If I were in the military, I would become Jerry Rawlence of Nigeria. I would block all borders and legally execute all corrupt politicians. I would first target Obasanjo, IBB, Gowon, GEJ, Atiku, Athur Nzeribe, Yar'adua's widow, GEJ's wife, and many more.. |

TonyeBarcanista:what he means is he made an economy that was favourable enough to produce the richest man in Africa, by changing Nigeria from a cement importing to a cement exporting Nation. Even Dangote attested to the fact that Jonathan's economic policies contributed largely to his success #Adonis3HasSopken |

neolboy:now d question is,if what he said where truth.can he tell us how much he left in d foreign reserves? we are not fool as he is,he produced Dangote how many Nigerians did Dangote employed during Jonathan tenure? how much is d cement then and now how are th3y selling it in the market now,I don't why Nigerians are so in hurry, after all did man hasn't spend up to a year, one is eben saying dey need Jonathan back, witcraft powers at work God forbid,so he cannot mention any poor citizens becomes rich. poorGEJ |

Pavarottii:Maybe president of clueless people like him, Not Nigeria, are you people serious at all, Jonathan is weak , very weak, we need someone with balls to rule Nigeria,I am not surprised that some of you are blaming Buhari for our problems, but we are all responsible for it, change must start with the person in the mirror, we are all corrupt, and we can have a better future if mistakes of the past are not corrected, did Buhari cause fuel scarcity? why didn't GEJ build refineries when we had money instead he decided to give his party members licence to import fuel, we know the story behind that, several billions down the drain,on power, the plants were sold to friends and party associates who don't have experience to manage power plants.is that Buharis problem? dont let us even talk about Dasuki gate, millions died because money meant to fight Boko Haram was diverted and here you are saying GEJ in 2019? In a civilised country GEJ will be at the International Court of Justice facing prosecution for Genocide because indirectly he killed all the people that died. so if you want GEJ to even be your local government chairman, good luck to you. |

Dcanio:Good But what about FG's share of the amount shared So if these guys forced him to release money from ECA, what about the FG's share (about 50%) of the amount disbursed? Did Okonjo Iweala also force Jonathan to spend it too? Did you know that FG gave Fashola N200m for fighting Ebola Same was given to Amaechi Did you know that N1.8b was budgeted for the fight? What happened to the balance? Prof Chukwu later claimed it was to be spent by Min of Health on vehicles etc You can google Nairaland on the matter Fashola gave N50m to the hospital that discovered that Taylor had Ebola He gave N2m each to the 13 survivors of Ebola He built a brand new Ebola ward within 1 month - don't take my word, read the account given by one of the survivors (Dr Igonoh) toBill Gates The ward was opened before Jonathan met the Governors on Ebola matter or Before Prof Chukwu met the commissioners of Health So you can abuse Fashola as much you like But someone who had contact with the patients and who ran away to Enugu was brought back to Lagos to be treated in the ward built by Fashola Money is better left in the hands of Fashola than in the hands of Dasuki & Co |
