Gone are the days of aluta... student unionism is not a right but a priviledge. When you belong to an institution that has been before you and will continue to be long after you, don't think you can arm-wrestle them and succeed. Students should focus and understand that they will always be at the losing end when fallouts like these happen even when some sorta intervention comes into play.

Great move by the university management.

Some students want to do their course and graduate at the right time, not spending 6yrs for a 4yrs course due to the closure of the school at various times as a result of student protests.

There are more sensible ways of discussing with the management and ventilating your grievances..... not that you just close the school gate and start protesting at any slight discomfort
