I have a junior brother working with a Southern African agricultural firm who has been posted to a village in Hungary. He will be resuming in September 2016. The village has a population of 1,100 people with a sizable number of white foreigners.

He will be heading a small office made up of five Hungarians, they all speak English.

The concern of the family is mainly on safety, safety of a black man in an Hungarian village. Nigerians living or who had lived in Hungary with with good understanding of the country, should kindly share their experiences most especially on cultural shocks and tips on how to live safely in an Hungarian village. He would be working and residing in the village.

The recent case of xenophobic attacks in Johannesburg is still fresh in our memories. May the Almighty God save us all from calamities, man made and natural IJN.

God bless you all.

You're probably not aware that Nigerians in diaspora contributed a whopping sum of $21 Billons to the Nigerian economy in 2014. That is nation building too.

It is so obvious that the last 3 posts are from the hungry Hungarians. Kindly get off our page and stop commenting with your "intimidating" english. For your info, you will not be able to scare those able to migrate to your country, we are not cowards, not easily intimidated.

Angry dogs, that is no problem. I know how to tame animals, especially the ones in human skins.

Hello! My sister was dating a black man and they were constansty stared at and harassed here in Hungary. The black man had enough of this and wanted to beat one of the racist haters, but HE was beaten and humiliated in front of his white girlfriend who left him. :-(

Ku-Klux-Klan group, Magyar Garda and others can't be a threat to me. Go and research into OPC, Egbesu. So keep your advice to yourself it is not need.

The black man was also not given any lodging or job here in Hungary, he lost everything he had, so he had to leave this country.

Do you need a pair of reading glasses to read the post well? This one is coming as an expatriate posted by his company to your country. He has a job and accommodation waiting for him, you don't get it. Learn to eat the "humble pie".

By the way, even if what you said is true, should you take delight in another man's misfortune? That shows you're a sadist. Shame!

Szia!

=====================

Hello!

I'm Hungarian. I live in Hungary. If you are interested in my opinion, you need to understand what I write in English!

What you asked me was famous in Hungary! Why? He was not here long war since 1945th It was Nigeria's 1967-70 with you - biafrai war in which many people were killed. Boko Haram is with you. We do not have this! There is no armed resistance.

With you was the presidential election, in which at least 800 people died. We just mérgelődünk home. On the streets it has never been NORMAL demonstrations. (Good one was, but I leave. LOL!)
Yes! There is the Hungarian Guard. This danger can be! They issue a "non-Hungarian", Jewish, Gypsy, African-American, yellow -skinned.
But no one walks in his hand holding rifle AK47's !

I ask you: No more threat to your brother to stay in Nigeria than to come over to a small village in Hungary?
