“The Aba depot is strategic because it serves as a link for product evacuation from Port Harcourt refinery through a 12-inch pipeline spanning 54 kilometres for transmission to Enugu, Makurdi and Yola. This makes it important in the distribution of petroleum products in the country and all the while it was shut down, our people suffered immensely which also affected economic activities in Aba. But with the reopening and eventual restoration of products lifting, life has returned,” he said.

I dont think the people of Aba have the discipline or civility to ensure that the depot operates, it wont be long before it shuts down again, cos our brothers over there will vandalize the facilities and adulterate the products there.

Kerosene scarcity problem there might prompt them to vandalize the pipelines thinking that kerosene will come out of it.

The depot is in opposite of First bank, Diamond bank, Moribund Zenith Bank. There's a military base behind firstbank opposite the depot. that area is my root and I can tell you about all the activities going on around that area. Frankly speaking, that was re-opened after a long time closure due to vandalism and breakage of pipelines in 2014 by joint efforts of Thief A. Orji, Rivers SG, and FG. APC can only claim in order to take the glory that they reopened the said depot and only CERTIFIED ZOMBIES like you will accept this pathetic lie
