mhunkey: Commissioned in July, 2012 with PMS only and later they pumped Diesel and Kerosene respectively. Group lauds PPMC for pumping diesel to Aba depot Posted by: The Citizen in Business November 29, 2012 He said that the Aba depot was cut off from supply of petroleum products by the PPMC in 2006 due to the activities of vandals but was re-commissioned in July this year with the supply of fuel (premium motor spirit) only. “The Aba depot is strategic because it serves as a link for product evacuation from Port Harcourt refinery through a 12-inch pipeline spanning 54 kilometres for transmission to Enugu, Makurdi and Yola. This makes it important in the distribution of petroleum products in the country and all the while it was shut down, our people suffered immensely which also affected economic activities in Aba. But with the reopening and eventual restoration of products lifting, life has returned,” he said. http://thecitizenng.com/business/group-lauds-ppmc-for-pumping-diesel-to-aba-depot/ 2 Likes |

omolola15: Have you ever been to Osisioma Depot before? Commissioned in July, 2012 with PMS only and later they pumped Diesel and Kerosene respectively. Group lauds PPMC for pumping diesel to Aba depot Posted by: The Citizen in Business November 29, 2012 “We want to use this opportunity to express the gratitude of all Aba residents and its environs for the recent opening of Aba depot of the PPMC and the subsequent pumping of petroleum products into the depot, more especially diesel which earlier than now has remained elusive to our people,” he said. He said that the Aba depot was cut off from supply of petroleum products by the PPMC in 2006 due to the activities of vandals but was re-commissioned in July this year with the supply of fuel (premium motor spirit) only. “The Aba depot is strategic because it serves as a link for product evacuation from Port Harcourt refinery through a 12-inch pipeline spanning 54 kilometres for transmission to Enugu, Makurdi and Yola. Re: Fuel Loading Resumes Aba Depot After 16 Years by DaniDani(m): 8:08am On Apr 26, 2016 |
Caseless:Just as you know nothing about aba depot. for clearance of doubt, Aba fuel depot is located along osisioma industrial layout, a stone throw from Osisioma Local Government Headquarters. The depot is in opposite of First bank, Diamond bank, Moribund Zenith Bank. There's a military base behind firstbank opposite the depot. that area is my root and I can tell you about all the activities going on around that area. Frankly speaking, that was re-opened after a long time closure due to vandalism and breakage of pipelines in 2014 by joint efforts of Thief A. Orji, Rivers SG, and FG. APC can only claim in order to take the glory that they reopened the said depot and only CERTIFIED ZOMBIES like you will accept this pathetic lie 4 Likes |

Good news. Yet for 16 years they never wailed to get the Depot functioning. Let's hope wailers won't vandalize it again to boost their wailing ego. |

borngenius: This is a head scratcher for sure. With opposition politics in full effect do they think no one will check? Do they think they are the only people with Internet access? I'm just waiting for the budget implementation before I speak further because I'm praying for better days but sometimes the propaganda gets to be too much. |
