FIRST time Senators under the aegis of G-77 met Tuesday and resolved to do everything possible to end the rejig of the details of the 2016 budget by Friday this as requested by President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure that things can kick start in the Nigerian economy.

Rising from a meeting held in hearing room 1, Senate complex, the senators pledged to support President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure that he delivers dividends of democracy to Nigerians.

Addressing Journalists after the meeting, Coordinator of the group and Senate Minority leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio, PDP, Akwa Ibom North West disclosed that the group was formed to help strengthen democracy as well as ensure that there was good governance. Meanwhile, Senate Leader, Senator Ali Ndume has said that President Muhammadu Buhari was resistant in signing the appropriation bill into law because of his sincerity and integrity, adding that he cannot append his signature in a document that has faults and where he wants to implement 100 per cent. Senator Ndume said, “The budget as presented by Mr President was not expected to go back to Mr President the way it was brought but at the same time again when the legislature work on the budget the executive who are to execute the bill or to implement it or really have to see whether this is something that they can do and especially now where you have a president who is very sincere who has integrity; who wants to see what is there so that he will make sure by the time he signs it, he has signed the document that he hopes to implement 100 per cent, even if that is not feasible, but the intention is 100 per cent.”

So even they know?!

Better safe than sorry.

Politicians aspire to political office(s) for many reasons, baba does so for just one reason--concern for the average citizen.

My only concern is that some people still do not realise that baba may not be capable of bringing about the change we yearn for all by himself.

He needs a less frustrating NA to accomplish.

Ndume should tell us what we don't already know. cheesy

Those nitwits thought they could bamboozle Baba into signing treasonable document into law so they can continue with the culture of the past where Lawbreakers try to outdo themselves on who steals the most. That era is long gone- they should always remember that.

Ps: Mynd44, they last jail-term I served (1wk) was because I told someone who would stop stalking me and insulting me he's got "hair like wool dumped at a hospital dumpsite". You know all I do is copy you when they come at me with the insults I won't take- but sometimes, the need to clap back is just overwhelming.

Henceforth, I will respond to none of those but simply copy you in the hope they get what they deserve just like I did and not some slap on the wrist asterisks (****) on the said words/comments while they are allowed to keep posting.

Good to be back.

Bros, wish you could see my mentions!! cheesy cheesy

I don't clapback, not because of ban aversion, but cos when I respond to trolls & foolishness it means I give an Eff about their opinions, which in the general scheme of things, I dont!!

One is only human & will feel some type Of way on few occasions, but when you already have it in mind that some people will definitely take Objection to your person no matter how valid your point is, you won't even bother!!

Some even think attacking one's femininity will make one cower or tremble!! They don't know better, they gon learn! smiley

When he finally signs the budget in November, he will only get 1/4 of the money disbursed and the rest will be paid into Zhara's account.

I lost faith in Buhari since the start of this Fulani killings and I regretted supporting his election (even though I didn't vote), although if given the chance again I no go still support Gej. I don't think Buhari has any integrity since the lives of some sections of the country doesn't matter to him. He totally has no regard for the lives of Nigerians but for his smelling kinsmen and cows.

Does that idiot know that the economy is grinding to a halt? Am sad I have to use the word (idiot), but when you run a business and most of your profit goes to buying black market fuel for about two months and running, your suppliers raise their prices and your own customers complain lack of money in circulation, you can't help but rant like am doing now.
