It isn't necessary to ask silly questions to make a point or express your anger.

The president's media team and the Information ministry have performed well below expectations in my opinion. This I will not dispute. I was hoping that's what the Ogunlesi guy was hired for.

Calling him a heartless pretender doesn't make him one. I believe we chose the lesser of two evils.

And you have a problem with this, how?

Lol. Islamic Holy War indeed.
The media team? You are blaming the media team? Was it the media team that talked about dealing with the ipob youths? What is the media team that talked about El Zaczacky's nuisance?

No. Calling him heartless doesn't make him one but his actions. Only a heartless leader or person will watch his children die and pretend like it never happened.

Are you sure you are still human? As in, I should be comfortable that my President ignored the deaths of his people by those meant to protect them? You don't have any problem with the Shiite massacre or Ipob killings? Yes or No.

You can laugh. If you Islam you wouldn't laugh over it. If you know these people you wont too. I was born and bred amongst them. I know them and their God.

Do you even understand the role of a media team?

And that's all that matters. Your position is right.

The Role of a Media Team? And I ask you, was it the media team that condemned Kanu's actions, The Shiite Muslims and Pipeline Vandals? Wasn't it the President? Why should we blame the Media Team Now?

Maybe Obama waited for his media team before addressing the situation in Ferguson. Or did the Norwegian PM used his media team to convey the errors of Breiviks Madness? What a shame to commonsense blinded by Love. You think they love you too? You don't know your country.

Not exactly any of your business. When you're done being emotional, maybe you'll let common sense direct your posts. Emotions, abuses and insults do not add any value to your posts. You should know from the Great Troll.

Lolololol. So which question exactly is lacking in reasoning?
Re: Searching & Sharing Chat by Nobody: 11:45am On Apr 26, 2016
Weak trick. When you can't counter an argument claim the other person is emotional. Wouldn't it be better to lead the person out of it using superior argument? How can any human being try to absolve the President of this responsibility?
Re: Searching & Sharing Chat by An0nimus: 1:33pm On Apr 26, 2016
Thanks for the links SoL. It opened another perspective to the Fulani herdsmen plot. Regardless, i'm not totally ruling out the Boko Haram 2.0 theory. So far so good, I won't say I'm overly happy with the way things are now. But to me, a change at the top was needed. Whether most of us unknowingly digested the APC propanganda to have seen GEJ as a bad president, I don't know. But he had to go. Hopefully, if PMB fails to deliver, Nigerians will rise up and show him the door in 2019. That's if INEC and other factors are not tampered with.

The guy only knows sarcasm and mockery. I'd rather discuss politics with a plank of wood.

Buhari is a man with the right intentions but not the intelligence to meet those intentions.

What are his achievements so far

1) Fighting corruption.
2) Chinese Yuan deal
3) Trying to resurrect refineries
4) SOME state/govt salaries paid

His achievements do not help the common man

In short

1) Fuel scarcity has crippled small businesses and left the common man hungrier
2) Forex scarcity has crippled small businesses
3) NEPA has now become worse
4) China will soon dump toxic goods into Nigeria.
5) China will soon own Nigeria
6) Some APC kingpins avoiding corruption charges.

Sha, we shall soon see. In the mean time, I have to search for my chinese babe I knew back in school. My country is soon going to be her country's b!tch. A position she might be interested in.

You're welcome. KOWA has been disappointing so far. I was hoping they'd position themselves( probably align with Martin Onovo etc) as an alternative to the usual.

On Buhari, only time will tell.

I have been waiting until sense got back into the thread.
But now with this new topic I am biting my tongue to not get into a bloody fight with SonofLucifer.

You are right about the Chinese political deal and their involvement in Africa as a whole (Nigeria). This is the new colonization, a type that might turn out even worse in the end than the misery of the past. Chinese land grab in combination with corruption (resulting in deals that are only good for those who close them and not for the country as a whole) is an ideal recipe to sell out your freedom, your property, your cultural values, you right to rule your own lives, everything that makes you you. Let me tell you one thing, they don't come for unselfish reasons, they don't come to respect your culture and values, they dont obey any international corporate sustainability law, they don't come for charity. You have to know their mentality to understand what they can be upto. While putting a knife in your back they will be still nicely smiling to you. They operate as a collective, individuality doesnt exist in their culture as it does in yours and ours. There is also a lot to say about their concept of freedom and how their own political climate has limited their way of independent moral thinking etc. One thing is clear, they lack resources to meet the needs of their growing population in the future, that is why they involve in huge scale land grab in africa (also for agricultural pursposes, to feed their population, while africans are dying in famine), they build some nice roads to make it look like they pay back the country with investing in infrastructure (but only a child will be happy with such deals), they just need those roads to get their own products easily transported. I mean there is way more to say about their role, also here in Europe, they doing exact the same and even our leaders are so stupid to step into it, so yeah...what can we expect of a Buhari, who clearly is lacking brains, just look at the old fashioned ideas for change, for instance the absolute ridiculous plans for the agriculture, his lack of investing in innovative ideas that are in line with the needs of this time, etc

Nihilistic, apathetic strawman argument.

1) No one said that discussing Buhari's govt here will change anything- we are just discussing.

2) We arent crying

3) If even we cant change anything, at least some people are learning things about their govt here- including me.

Do you know that I actually thought that IPOB and their Biafra nonsense was a joke?
Re: Searching & Sharing Chat by Ishilove: 6:58pm On Apr 26, 2016
I really wish we will take our arguments off the internet and unto the streets. It reminds me of Occupy Nigeria in 2012, when men sat in beer parlours and vigorously argued about the increase in fuel price and what the strike hoped to achieve. Everyday people assembled at TBS, while the vast majority sat at home and watched them assemble on TV. grin

But who will bell the cat? cheesy

You see, the greatest achievement in life is the protection of life. You can build skyscrapers in the moon but if people cannot live in it or appreciate it your design is bullshit.

True talk.

Buhari wants to improve our refinery in 2-3 years while the common man is suffering for fuel.

Oh logicbwoy...the logic is that you have never given me a chance to be known. You were so absorbed with finding a fault in me instead of seeing me for me and finding out who i really am. No offense though.

Probably sonoflucifer was -by exception- right for once, illustrating a better observation capacity and insight- when giving me an alternative moniker.
