For police to admit that six persons died during the attack means over sixty person were killed.. So all he pictures flying the whole internet where lifeless bodies liter everywhere wasn't among the dead bodies police counted... Why evilz?
The guy made a valid assertion that was predicated by obvious foul-play in this propaganda-celebrating media which can be validated by even the inconsistency in the police statement (regarding the number of casualities seeming inflated)
I still have several Igbo friends and none of them know of any affected families... I mean we talking about 2500 casualties and no one can put a face on it. In the famous words of Genesis, Let there be Sense, I mean light. Be enlightened.

Too many errors in that report so I don't believe it came from the police and even if it does the police we know will only increase the number of casualties if it happen to be arm robbers they kill while attempting to rob a bank.
That report is a make up.
The DSS were bold enough to accused the IPOB for the death of 5 fulani's but in this case they rather say it's hoodlums than say it's Fulanis cos their headmaster is ontop

– It also clarified the number of victims affected by the onslaught

The Enugu state police command has provided a report on the supposed Fulani herdsmen attack which occurred in Ukpabi Nimbo community in the state but significantly referred to the perpetrators as hoodlums rather than herdsmen

The attack occurred on Monday, April 26 in Uzo-Uwani council and it was reported that 500 people died in the attack while over 2000 persons were displaced as they fled to neighboring communities of Nkpologu and Uvuru, even as Nkpologu natives fled to Nsukka in fear of attack.

Houses were reportedly burnt while goods worth millions of naira were lost while it was reported that Fulani herdsmen imported about 500 others from Nasarawa state to help launch the attack on the community.

However, in a statement signed by Ebere Amaraizu who is the spokesperson of the Enugu state police, it was reported that only 6 persons died while 11 persons were injured as against the earlier figures of causalities and that the attack was carried out by hoodlums.

The police also confirmed that vehicles were burnt and damaged in the attack but assured that the perpetrators will be brought to book

Meanwhile, there are unconfirmed reports that some Fulani herdsmen invaded Umuchigbo community in Enugu, just a few days after an initial attack.

It is a known phenomenon, when there is no reasonable answer or applicable fact the mind would design a series of scenarios to suit, the question remains what would spore Fulani herdsmen in 2016 to abandon their cattle and attack a settlement unprovoked ?

I wonder why people always loss sense of sound judgment . Igbo and yurba cried for petrol scarcity together but cannot join forces to condemn the killings in Enugu and mile 12. What have we gained from supporting evil oppressive leadership that is affecting every dick and harry. Anybody who support or laugh about what happened in Enugu shall experience such in his household.

Mr. OP, please stop giving conflicting and false / misleading information to the public. The police report you did well to attach says 6 people were killed and 11 injured. This matches the account of an eye witness who also told his story here on nairaland. Your write-up says 500 people and you gave a source as a social media site.

This is the reason I actually don't like social media because every Tom dick and Harry becomes a reporter, giving false information to the public and consciously or unconsciously causing unnecessary public unrest.

Nairaland in fast becoming one of those rumuour sites. Honestly, I do not come to this site as often as I used to as I see much more gabbage everyday. Moderators, you guys are not helping matters as you do not scrutinise stories before putting them on front page. More than 50% of stories on the front page do not even deserve to be there. Moderators please do not kill Nairaland.
