Eleven Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors are expected in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital today to witness the inauguration of projects executed by Governor Ayo Fayose.

They are

Governors Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom);

Serieke Dickson (Bayelsa);

Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia);

Ibrahim Dakwambo (Gombe);

Dave Umahi (Ebonyi);

Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu);

Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta);

Olusegun Mimiko (Ondo);

Nyesom Wike (Rivers);

Darius Ishaku (Taraba) and

Ben Ayade (Cross River).



Governor Ishaku will hold a special thanksgiving to mark his Supreme Court victory in honour of Fayose who “predicted” his judicial triumph over his All Progressives Congress (APC) rival, Mrs. Aisha Al-Hassan.

The hint was dropped at a briefing yesterday jointly addressed by Commissioner for Information Lanre Ogunsuyi and Fayose’s Chief Press Secretary Idowu Adelusi.

The projects for inauguration are the Women Development Centre named after the late deputy governor Mrs. Funmilayo Olayinka; 6.2km De-Head-Adetiloye Road executed at N782,021,436; the 800m dualised Awedele-Secretariat road, which gulped N488,199,974 and the Ewi’s Palace gallery on which the government said it spent N212.1million to complete.

Are you for real? I had to travel the whole of Southwest last month and am wondering why this aregbe man is always in the news for bad reasons. They had better roads than any other state in the SW. Modern schools in almost every local govt( quality of structures are unquestionable). Was also in ekiti and I can't say same. I also saw more wip projects in osun than any other state. Let's be objective with this things. Giving his merger allocation

Which projects are they coming to commission? Awedele market road is less than 1.5km, Funmi olayinka complex is a building built in memory of the late deputy governor that died during fayemis tenure, the place was started by fayemi and fayose completed it, but my question about this project is ; of what use is this project to the state? Why are you inviting 11 governors to commission a building built on the burial ground of the late woman?
Another project listed for commissioning is the amphi theatre he said he built inside ewis palace (ewi is the king of ado ekiti), not the entire palace, but a hall inside the palace! Is that worth inviting 11 governors to commission? What if he built the whole palace? I guess he would invite Obama for that?
Fayose is currently owning us 4 months salary (jan-april), he has no money to pay that but there's money to invite 11 governors to a useless jamboree in ekiti.
Please if you doubt all I've said above, you can take a trip down to ekiti this weekend, I will foot the bill.
