Nigeria Is Becoming So Boring With Stale News by odikimi(op): 11:07am On Apr 30, 2016
Everyday we debate about Saraki, Dasuki, FFK, Fayose, Wike, Metuh, SAS etcetera. Is Nairaland for only PDP (and Tinubu perceived enemies) news alone? Why not news like; PMB commissioned first phase of the 3million housing units they promised, I just received my 5k monthly stipends from the FG for the month of April and what have you.
Please I am tired of listening/reading PDP news, bring on news concerning the change we voted for.

Always propaganda, yet fuel and light is still scarce. How will Sarak's trial supply fuel for us? It's not NL's fault, it is APC govt, giving us daily doses of sponsored unverified news from their media houses.

That should be done marginally with the no passed budget or any kind of funding or how exactly do you suggest they do that?

Your rubbish is worse, illogical and ignorant than the meaningless topics we see all day on NL..

Is it my fault that they are yet to pass the budget? is the speaker of the house not apc? is Goje, the senate appropriation committee chairman not apc? Was it pdp that padded the budget? pls guy package yo zombiesm for corner.

I know your response the moment I see your name. I have never seen apc apologist facing issues raised without resort to insult or looking for Jonathan to blame or Fayose to blame. You guys blame pdp for all the pains Nigerians are passing through, yet you absorbed anybody from pdp into your party.

You forgot that 60% of 2015 budget (March, 2015 - March, 2016) was supposed to be executed by Buhari's administration.

If Buhari can pay salaries and continues funding other recurrent expenditures (without budget? - Impeachable offense by the way) then why not fund capital expenditures same way.

Was payment of April, 2016 Federal workers salaries approved by the National Assembly?

How much out if that 2015 budget was earmarked for capital projects?.... A recurrent expenditure based budget was passed by your GEJ, you had absolutely no problem with that, but then, you accuse Buhari of not carrying out capital projects in 2015, probably he should have carried out extra-budgetary projects so you can have good grounds to impeach him right?

Did you understand the comment you responded to?

Let me respond to your questions.

1. 22% capital, 78% recurrent for 2015 was approved by National Assembly and signed by GEJ.

The anticipated 2016 "change" budget is 30% capital and 70% recurrent expenditures hence I see no astronomical difference.

My question was a response to Ekoile's reply to the Op's request for commissioned projects. Was Buhari not expected to implement and execute 2015 budget? If not, why not?

What's your rubbish about who is responsible or not for passing the budget got to do with the illogical and ignorant demand for what can not happen without a budget?

The silly topic is not about who is responsible for passing the budget, it's about making illogical and ignorant demands without a budget..

Fact remains that there is no budget on the table

Stop compounding your ignorant and illogical rubbish with even more illogical and ignorant nonsense.

There's a clear difference between paying salaries and funding executive projects, funding economic policies and programs.

Salary funding and recurrent spending to keep the government running is done by passing appropriations which NASS approved already back in March so stop making ignorant assartions about impeachment.

Sadly, many intelligent and politics guru have stopped posting or starting threads on NL because NL is saturated with trolls, low grade, shallow, ignorant and unintelligent posters.

NL today as a brand is more about quantity and not quality and superior brand.

Your last paragraph betrays your previous comments.

The Op is demanding the implementation of the so-called "appropriations which NASS approved already back in March" (according to you) to ease the suffering of Nigerians.

1. The OP did not say anything about appropriations, he or she made ignorant assertions about capital projects and government programs which at this time can only be funded with the yet to be passed budget.

2. The person I quoted with that post was not the op. I quoted you to address your flawed and misguided post.

Was it not implemented?... The point I made was simple, and it was in response to those expecting series of commisioned projects. How do you commission projects when the budget wasnt really fashioned to complete any projects?... 5% of required project cost is budgeted and some people expect projects to be commisioned here and there?... na wa oh! This NL politics keeps getting more and more boring. undecided

very demented fellows, simple demand for the change they promised, they are calling for my head. awon we●rey.
When it comes to Saraki, Jonathan and co matters, you all will descend on nairaland as if you guys are jobless (though you are all jobless), but when it has to do with holding our president accountable to his frivolous, vexatious and scandalous promises you will resort to insult. Free yourself with the demeaning title "zombie". Jonathan failed us because he was shielded by his kinsmen from criticism, now you lots are doing same.

Tomorrow you guys will jump the ship with your ineffectual political godfathers, then criticize Buhari. If you love Buhari, criticize him so he can do the right thing and stop being foolish because you want to please your pay-masters.

I just think many of these ignorant trolls with little or no knowledge about their own country should be restricted from the politics section at least.

Why blame your silly thread and it's ignorant content and assertions on other people and not yourself?

I have no reservations about criticizing any public official including the President based on any wrong doing on his part, but unlike you and your kind, I do so based on facts and rational argument.

Accusing PMB for not doing something without approved.budget to do what you ranted that he should be doing was irrational and illogical.

Find something better to argue over.
