POEM: Message For The Gods

Where Were The Gods When Men Need Them Most?
In The Outer Chamber, Inner, Or Innermost?
When Men Were Taken Hostage By Their Very Host
They Became Invisible; They Became Ghost


Do Good, Play Fair
Such, Were The Words Of The Gods
Why Play Fair In A World That Is Not Fair?
No Thoughts For How You Fare, Not Even By The Gods!!


Our Choicest Meat, We Offered To The Gods
The Best Grains Was Theirs
We Give They Take, But We Are Still At Odds
Stricken, Lowly, Than Every Of Our Peers


Hear O Ye Gods, That Cannot Save
Ye That Are Lofty, High And Great
All These Years We Have Been Thy Slave
But No More Shall We Be Again Naive


We Shall Find For Ourselves A God That Can Save
One That Vents Upon Enemies Not Anger But Love
One That Seeks To Make The World Safe
To Him We Shall Give Our Grains, Meats And Love.
