Could you please share why you are leaving Sydney? I am really interested.

I have the option of going to either Western Sydney Uni or a top Uni in Paris for my Msc. I have admissions in both schools and the program in Paris is less expensive.

My heart is leaning towards Paris cos its closer to home, in a better and central location and its my favourite city in the world. But I'm worried about the current situation in the EU, plus the prospect of getting a job after studies as well as integrating.

Australia holds better prospects for integrating, at least on paper, but the distance is a whole lot and I'm seriously wondering if their degrees are worth the heavy price tags. Cost of living in Sydney is also significantly higher. I cringe when I see the price of rentals there.

Please all the experienced gurus in the house, I need your informed advice. If you were in my shoes, would you choose France or Australia?
Am in western Sydney uni. To be frank Sydney is a nice place and a great city. It is a pretty expensive city dou, but its a good city all together. There are jobs toooo

Hi. Pls can you explain further on this method. Thanks
There is nothing new or beneficial about using an active dorm account to transfer. You would not have access to foreign exchange at friendly rates. Do your best to use form A. That's the only way u can officially get good rates

Thanks GodsClan, I appreciate. I am glad to hear that you are having a good experience, the job aspect is quite interesting too.

Jbond:
If you are looking for a country where you can easily get a job, stay back after your MSc and also for permanent residence ish, Australia is the bomb, but it you want to come back to Nigeria after your MSc, and you're not keen on staying back or getting a job or permanent residence ish, then Paris should be your choice.

Hi Jbond, thank you for your input. Yes, you are absolutely correct, Australia is the right choice for me at the moment. I will go ahead and pay my fees. I can't wait to experience the bomb ish cheesy

Bro, I'm kinda stocked here with this WSU ish. They gave me Conditional Offer, demanding for my sponsor's SOA and my proof of employment. I applied for MBA though.

Pls did they ask you any of such...

TempusQ, WSU demanded for proof of employment from both my previous and current employers, and I sent it to them. They didn't ask for SOA though. Are you using an agent?

Yes I am (PFL). And they removed the conditions after providing them? And did you use agent too?

The school seems strict and I kinda like it. Although, I hope it doesn't affect my visa grant.
I also like Paramatta City Campus, and it's cheaper than my other two options in Melbourne & Perth.

Hi. Pls can you explain further on this method. Thanks

Domicilary acct has no limit of funds, get someone who owns one den transfer ur funds to dia acct and den do bank transfer frm that acct to the sch acct online, u will be asked by b bank of d said domicilary acct to provide dem wit ur international passport data page and offer letter, after d transfer is done, u will get an evidence of payment called TeleTransfer (TT) .... Best bet step into any bank and mk enquires abt transfering funds to Australia using a domicilary acct, I'm sure u will be well informed abt d process. Hope it hlps!

Bro I did transfer from a Dom acct and d bank used d official online rate, d only diff is d charges paid fr transfer, it's high dan form A, with a Dom acct it's 3 wrkng days... Quiet fast n easy, all it cost is a higher charge fr transfer.

Hello fellow nairalanders,

Please i need your advice.. I Applied for 572 visa on 18th Feb 2016, I emailed embassy on 3rd march to find out if my application has been received. They replied on 4th March that my application has been received and still understand standard processing time of 3 month.

My IELTS result will be over 2 years after March, another thing is that the school i applied commences on 24th April.. And yet to hear from the embassy, please is it wise to write them an email? I have already uploaded my medicals.. Since last month too..

Awaiting your advice..

I need to make payment to Engineer Australia next week for Skill assessment. What is the rate using Form-A? and which bank(s)?

I doubt if you can make payment to Engineer australia through form A. last time I visited the site, I think it's 500aud, and the payment is through master card (I stand corrected, the site has more information) as regards the rate the banks may use, I checked abokifx.com sometime to see a transaction in AUD for about #229. for my form A self, I hope the bank charges me at the rate I see online #150 or there about to Aud.... moreover, some folks here may have more adequate answer on how to make payment to EA.
kind regards
