NASS playing politics and distorting the original budget is the reason for the delay. Change is also mr president taken proactive measures to forestall a repetition of the same scenario by directing work starts in earnest on the 2016 budget. Don't think you're clever by trying to play around with words. Your sole aim of creating the thread was to save Buhari's face from the backlashes of inability to prepare common budget but you took the game too far by trying to drag the last govt into it. Buhari had contested for the presidency for 12 years before clinching the seat in 2015, therefore, he doesn't have any excuse for these budget quagmires. Moreover, the process of preparing budget is the same (for those who know what they are doing) whether it's 4 or 10trillion. So, don't come here to cite the size of 2016 budget as the reason for the ensuing hullabaloo.

You equally lied regarding the distortions in the original and the amended budgets submitted to the National Assembly. Those distortions (errors and paddings) emanated from the executive and it took the prying eyes of the legislators and members of the public to bring them to limelight. It's sheer wickedness for you to blame other parties for Buhari's failures. If he was competent and astute as been erroneously portrayed why didn't he vet the initial documents before taking them personally to the National Assembly? Why did he attempt to retrieve the budget through suspicious means from the hallowed chambers when the paddings and errors came to public knowledge? Please stop these shenanigans in the name of supporting a deceitful govt. It's not good for you or the nation. OK?

Its a simply to return it to the National Assembly, make your disagreement with what they passed known to them, then sit with the Legislatures to harmonize after which the legislature passes it into law. without creating media buzz on an issue as simple as this. Who told you any president gets what he sends to the National Assembly exactly as he sent it. take the US for example, Obama is always in a fight with the National Assembly during budget process too. He doesn't get what he send to them exactly all the time.
