You Nigerians just think everything is about 2 or 3 days training and its all over. Are you a painter? Do you have knowledge in upholstery and are you an automechanic? if no to any of these questions, do you think that someone would wake up from no where one day and start fixing a car without having a clue to what he is doing on it in the first place. Car engineering and Aesthetic upgrade is not 4-5 days Anakara shoe and bag training. Thanks.
didn't see where he mentioned all these things you are pointing out.

@lungwun...pics do lie. The seats are broken hence the pillow on the driver seat. Thinking Recaro or Sparco racing seats. Dashboard needs to be worked on, squeaks and sings while you drive (getting carbon fibre dash kits for a new looks after tightening all loose ends). The whole body needs to be strip down to almost bare metal, full of body fillers and uneven surfaces. Windscreen has been changed and was poorly done, windscreen wipers and wash system bad. Power window controls for both doors can hardly take the windows up and down. Water gets into the car in between the windows and the rubbers by the door pillars. Drivers door won't open unless you go in from passenger side. Car won't start unless you open the driver's door. Audio system is some cheap China brand that can't pick out clear local FM stations. Suspension feels like concrete, car swerves to the right if you take your hands off the wheel. Tie rod ends, control arms, bushings etc need replacements. All fluids and tires need to be changed. Looking at over $4k in replacement parts, paint job, seats, electrical work and all. I got the car for less than that. That's all I can remember for now. If this isnt restoration, I have no clue what it is. Pics attached (what I expect to achieve). Two tone paint preferably black and blue with matching seats and maybe some carbon fibre wraps round the hood.

Hi, If you need a dashboard kit, I can gladly get you one for a cheap price. Thanks

I think it came out well eventually. I still have audio system and wheels/tyres left, exchange rate hasn't been favorable.

Yea door rubber seals too. Water gets in while its been washed, that will be disastrous when the rain starts.

Autofreak you have done a very thorough and skilled job of bringing this 13-year old Nissan Z car to life. There is an enormous satisfaction that comes with restoring a vehicle to its past glory both mechanically and cosmetically. You spent some serious money to revive this beast, and you will be rewarded with many miles of high performance driving. Yourself and Engineer Siena are educative inspirations to all readers of this forum who appreciate those fine performance automobiles from the recent past, and who like to see such mechanical icons given new leases of life at the hands of seasoned experts.

Back in the day I drove a 1974 Datson 240Z that I bought used and souped up with custom flared fenders, wide tires and a metallic blue paint job. I recall wheeling that Z car along US Highway 395 northbound towards Mammoth Mountain ski area in northern California.

With the exception of a couple of times when I slowed down a taste so as to avoid pursuit by CHP patrol cars laid up in ambush, I maintained a constant speed of 105 miles per hour, for well over 4 hours straight across the burning deserts and up the steep winding roads into the winter chill of the northern Sierra foothills, and brother, let me tell you, that old Z car did not complain or overheat one single time all the way there and back to SoCal.

Your Z car is a direct descendant of my old 240Z, and as such is GUARANTEED to serve you well, at all highway speeds from the mundane to the insane, with even more technological enhancements to the sterling credentials of its great ancestors comprising the Z car dynasty.

A stock 350z engine has about 280hp, I wonder what a turbocharger or twin will do to this mini beast. Its pretty scary when I floor the gas pedal. I'm enjoying every bit of this 13 year old auto masterpiece.

I spot a diverter valve.
I spot a boost pipe.
I spot an intercooler.
I don't spot a snail, but I know he's down there, lurking.

I spot a pair of gullwing doors. I think they're pretty horrible.
I spot a set of Lexus-style tail lights. They're downright gash and nasty.
I spot a set of over-sized chrome wheels - very love-vendor-like, not my thing.
I spot a fibreglass front bumper with integral splitter, cheap and nasty, it'll shatter at the first impact from a stone or Danfo.

A simple dictionary states that "restoration is the act or process of returning something to its original condition by repairing it, cleaning it, etc"

Thats all I am doing here. Repairing and cleaning it back to its original condition.

I never said I was rebuilding the car like Master Siena does cheesy. Siena even commented he would love to see it restored to an OEM+ state. Maybe I have to fit in a W16 Bugatti engine before this qualifies as a restoration. But bad belle is allowed.
