Which network gives you 3gb of data for only #500, 1gb for #200 it is glo and only glo. Very soon, there will be no subscribers left for them. THEIVES.

Mtn lost customers so badly that they were forced to review their plans...have shifted back to Mtn tho cos their network is way faster

same here using 3.75 g for 2k

in Uyo MTN is the only stable network in terms of Internet coverage and their rate is normal unlike Airtel who zap

i still wont assume that this rise came due to there flexible plans for android phones,without accurate breakdown/further analysis of the above figures.

Probably it could be due to the disconnection of sim cards by MTN that led to there huge loss.
or because MTN blocked our beloved simple server. I wouldn't subscribe for any mtn data

Browsing is so slow from where i am based. MTN is way faster but well, less reliable. Reason being server overload.
MTN and Glo employs almost the same amount of Nigerians, they both pay taxes. They support our youths (endorsement)... so why should anyone even keep givin a phuck if one is of South African origin or of Nigerian origin ?

Enough of the hate. GLO should upgrade.

I knew something was pressing hard on MTN when I got their new deal offer of 1.5g for 1k and 3.5g for 2k. Well, with their new plans, they will regain their customers fast. But their competitors will respond by introducing even cheaper plans to hit back at them. This process will continue untill 3g cost less than 1k valid for 30days across the networks. In the end, we the customers are the ones benefiting from this their market dominance fight. Let the fight continue. Click like if you agree with me. Share if you disagree

Why can't Etisalat open their eyes and do something about their unfriendly data bundles? I've been using them since 2009 and can't stand any other unstable or slow network cry.

MTN is offering 2k for 3.5gb and I'm using Etisalat 2k for just 2gb. Why would I use their new 3.5k for 4.5gb when glo offers 3k for 6gb embarassed. I think they should have a rethink about their outrageous charges or is there something the other networks enjoy that they are denied?
I felt cheated!

Glo too have allowed that get into their head and started misbehaving .That plan was 1k before but suddenly increased to 1400 and it zaps faster than when it was 1k. You can only use the plan through imei tweaking on Android. Airtel bb complete 1k for 3gb that doesn't zap anyhow is the latest one in town now, achievable through imei tweaking too. Whoever advised Glo to increase to 1400 will have himself to blame as there'll be a mass exodus to Airtel from Glo very soon.
Please can you share the procedure? I want to dump my Glo as soon as my current sub expires. Glo have done the unthinkable. Can you imagine they increased the price of 3Gb from 1k to 1,400. As if that wasn't enough, my data barely last more than two weeks unlike before. GLO I AM DUMPING YOUR SORRY ASSS.

Truth be told, MTN is very exploiting in there data consumption rate. Glo is truly the best, I buy a 100 card and i get 100MB, 100 to call all networks and 100 to call my fnf for four days. what could be more rewarding. I connect my mobile data to my laptop and i browse for a long time and as long as possible without any fear. Thanks Glo.
I tried just yesterday the MTN new data bundle for #100 for 30MB just to open a site and check my status, believe me, I got a message saying that the your data has been used up within one minute. Una be OLE. I can assure you that the data review by MTN without a corresponding review of their data consumption rate is another SCAM from MTN.

Please avoid etisalat by all means if you are a new subscriber living in Festac/Ojo/Amuwo. The slow nature of their network will make you break your phone a thousand and more times.

Etisalat sucks. I used MTN as back up when etisalat was doing well. MTN is now my first choice and their speed and reliability have not disappointed. I don't use glo so I can't compare. But for etisalat, please avoid that network.

Can't recall the last time i browse with my Etisalat line. In fact the sim is blocked as i type this. Their own foolish business idea is beyond "be careful"

The company’s figure of 1,448,354 for the three months under review represents 80% of the total number of 1,820,651 new customers who subscribed to internet services of the four major telecom operators in the first quarter of this year.

Airtel recorded 319,229 new data subscribers for the three months, while Etisalat had an addition of 53,068 new internet users on the network during the period. The combined figure for the two companies makes up the remaining 20% of the total figure of 1,820,651 new internet subscribers for the quarter.

On the other hand, MTN which began the quarter with 39,924,737 data customers ended it with 33,356,595. This indicates a massive loss of over 6.5million internet subscribers in just three months.

In my neighborhood, the Glo network is EXTREMELY FAST! In fact, it's even faster than the much-vaunted and overhyped Etisalat. I ported from MTN to Glo by chance this year and haven't regretted the decision for once.

Thanks to Glo, data (or the lack thereof) is NEVER an issue for me. I get data worth 6Gb for the total cost of #1,900. I stand to be corrected, but no provider comes close to this bargain.

I'm highly pleased with Glo for now.

Just look at your reply, its just shows that you have absolutely no clue, because of Glo he should carry his office or apartment to somewhere else? Imaging if it were a customer care person giving you this reply. For your info Glo network is general poor everywhere with a few hotspots. So he is on point, I make use of Glo at the office its so slow and basically the network lets you browse when it wants not the other way round. Please stop promoting mediocrity..

But this 6gb isn't for a month I believe. Don't know of any Glo plan that will give u 6gb for 1900 all for a full month except you're using this combination : 1400 for 3gb for a month + 500 for 3gb for a weekend. Am I right? Well I get same 6gb for 2000 naira on Airtel all for a full month, that's subscribing twice a month though,1k each.

the issue is that Glo network server is very poor,mtn is way much faster in download and now they've come out with better data bundle,its gonna make glo loose customers
