and how much was minimum wage during Obj era? with all the sanctions during Abacha era he still saw money to steal. If naija was not broke why did Gej borrowed money to pay feb, march and april salaries in 2015 when oil was selling above 80 dollars, you do the maths.
And what was the exchange rate during OBJ era?

Gaddafi treatment ,that is wishful thinking not a strategy. No foreign powers are coming to save anyone so militants need a better strategy than hoping for external help. The federal government has the power to evacuate the entire population of a state and replace them with another ethnic group .Go and ask the Palestinians. There is already a desperate population in IDP camps in the NE they will be moved to Gbaramatu and it will be renamed to New Chibok. The Gbaramatu people will be MOVED to Lake Chad in Ekene Dili Chukwu buses
If this was south african military then I might agree, but for nigeria military that relies heavily on foreign support from US, Egypt, Russia, south Africa, Nigeria military that for 30 months with the loss of more than 500,000 nigerian soldiers backed by Britain, could not eve arrest Ojukwu or fight biafran army to a finish but had to rely on blockades and farmland sabotage to starve millions to death and force biafra to surrender.

I think you need to start being more objective in your perspectives on Nigeria.

The country is built on a faulty fulcrum and the various federating units cum ethnic groups are coming to more and more understanding of the unworkability of extant arrangements.

The Yorubas are not left out of these agitations too.

Perhaps by 2019 your eyes will be opened to know that propaganda will not take you out of the woods even before hearing from the "accused" according to your missing "phantom N12 billion" there you go again in your usual babyish way of reasoning to judge and condemn when Diezani, Jonathan, Dasuki etc are yet to state their own side of their stories. Keep being wrapped up in your cocoon and start feeling giddy over nothing.....the boys are back at the Creek to mess things up and if you feel you are up to the task to be the "Voltron" for Buhari please go ahead and fight the Creek boys with your army. Too many clowns lately....just imagine undecided
May I ask you, what is so special about the creek boys? I can only take them serious when they are able to blow their selves along with the pipelines..

Most of these PDP people don't realize the mistake they are about to make. Full scale war might be declared on Gbaramatu leading to wipe out of an innocent community because of bad reasoning by their leaders. I don't think the US will even have any atom of pity for them because Buhari is a US backed President and only the US determines who is innocent or not.

The truth of the matter is the militants are not the same calibre as Boko Haram. They are not as motivated and definitely do not want to die. They have little training,no external support and very limited access to arms that will be more easily blocked. They are unable to run anywhere for sanctuary unlike Boko Haram that could move in and out of the country. They also do not have the support of their population as they pretend. Why? They are motivated mainly by greed and are very divided among themselves often fighting for dominance. Finally the Niger Delta is not Ijaw and Ijaw is not the Niger Delta. Let us play back to GEJ's government.Where were the Ogonis.the Efiks and so on. Yes they can cause chaos but will pay a very heavy price and some ethnic groups will not survive. One thing that will definitely happen in the long run if they keep this up is they will become minorities even in their own lands. AB0KIS are polygamous and 5000 of them will become 1million in 20 years in YenagoaThere will be no help from NATO .It will not happen. Those who think this is a picnic should visit the IDP camps. When people are evacuated from their lands with the hope of returning TOMORROW. They may find that after 30 years tomorrow is still far away

I agree 100% with their agitation but being right without a plan is foolish. This approach will achieve little and lose much..The agitators have shown themselves to be cheap opportunists lacking commitment to true change. We only need to look at the likes of Tompolo and Asari Dokubo.

The starting point is this. What is their real objective? They seem to be very confused. This has nothing to do with faulty fulcrum or whatever you call it. Why did they accept the Amnesty programme if not for selfishness. Why did they keep quiet under Jonathan? I say this not because I side with the government but to point out that these particular agitators are not the Messiah of the Delta they are selfish opportunists

You need to ask your school to refund whatever money you paid them for Maths lessons.

Now, breaking it down in a layman's way,

Nigeria sells oil in dollars and converts the dollars to naira with which it funds it's budgets. Now at $9 per barrel in 1999 and official exchange rate of 22 naira, 1 barrel of crude would fetch OBJ 9 × 22 = N198

At $40 per barrel in 2016 and official exchange rate of 199, 1 barrel of oil would fetch Buhari 40 x 199 = N7,960

So, for every N198 OBJ earned, Buhari earned N7,960

I'll leave you to do the rest of the Mathematics.

Militants that operate on sea do not have where to hide and do not have easy access to arms and ammunition?

Keep making yourself feel good with your lies.....#ostrich

They may have a place to hide NOW but not if a state of emegency is declared and there is a military deployment such as there is in the NE that is the scenario I am comparing. So in such a scenario The government declares the coast closed and fishing activities of any kind prohibited so those who operate on the sea as you say will still have to come to land won't they? they must eat won't they? They must refuel their boats won't they? Now they can hide in the civilian population. But when it reaches that level. Civilians will be ordered to leave Bayelsa state 100% that means any moving animal whether human goat or chicken will be killed.

i agree with what you said, but you are looking at it at income angle, what about expenses, two factors made Nigeria broke, increase in minimum wage and the rate of dollars,Obj's budget was 800billion naira in 2002 his recurrent was 550 billion naira, compare that with a the current reccurent of over 4trillion naira, and put in mind that most capital project are valued in dollars, most of the materials to be used will be imported plus expats and they will be paid at the current exchange rate, you are not looking at the balamce sheet, you are just looking at the income side ignoring the liabilities,Nigeria av being broke since Gej era,if not why did we borrow money to buy arms and pay salaries?

If Buhari didn't compromise with the boko haram and the shiite groups then you think he will compromise on his stand with the criminal posture the militants are showing. By the time he takes strong military actions even the international community will not hear your voice... A word is good enough for the wise
