Capitalist system/market system is all about exploitation so competition is not really a bad thing per se. This global market is structured in way that asymmetric nature will correct itself (whether due to Govt intervention or through other forces in play) to bring the market to equilibrium so the cycle continues

Forex is a zero sum game, which means that for someone to win, someone else must lose. Even if every "investor" is disciplined and "smart" and following the "best strategies", some people must lose money in order for others to win. Every win is at the expense of someone's loses. And that is before you consider the fees. When you consider the fees, it becomes clear that retail forex is a very dumb business to be in.



Real business is superior in many ways:
1) In real business, whether you succeed or fail, you're providing a useful service to society. In retail FOREX speculation, you're not.
2) If all people who go into a legitimate business are smart, it is possible for all of them to be successful. In FOREX, many people must lose.
3) In FOREX, the winners are the brokers or lucky. In business, the winners are usually those who provide the best value to society.

I feel bad about disrupting the forex communities on Nairaland, but we'll be better off when real business topics start dominating this section.

The reasons why the biggest companies in the world are what they are today is because of investors & traders who help shoot up their stocks.

well as adults I believe we all have minds of our own and as such should be responsible for whatever consequences of our actions and inactions.
in my honest opinion trading forex has come to stay wether we like it or not.
the big question is will banning forex trading threads on nairaland stop any trader from trading?
my advice to fellow nairalanders is that they should desist from patronizing faceless individuals but rather registered businesses in order to avoid getting scammed.

Naaa bro, because price either moves upwards or downwards, i have to employ an " if,then" plans
whenever i approach it. The chart i posted simply means that
1. if price convincely breaks above the trendline, i will look for a buy opportunity; then
2. if price dint do what I expected in option 1, then i will look for sell opportunity.

I believe the ambiguity is cleared now?

My expected movement on NZDUSD

Alright its about market open time...my plan for this week and the next 3-5 weeks will be scalping until my long positions either hit TP or very positive. will enter any longer positions if i see any like the gbpusd. Meanwhile,back on still the 3 scalping pairs are : audjpy,gbpaud and gbpjpy. time frame will be from 30mins to 1mins chart. please check my signature,thank you.

my first trade is audjpy...i will enter a sell position for this pair at market open for price to head to any of the NORM lines as shown in the chart below. stoch also in consonance. i also do have a long term buy on this trade from a 4hr and the daily chart.

my second trade is gbpaud. this particular pair is already close to the NORM,so will just wait for price to get to the NORM and then we buy for price to head to the 1.97xx level...remember everything will be fast here as each candle is just 15mins. Also if you observe the stoch its already in an oversold area,will wait for the bulls to kick in. see chart below.

my third trade is gbpjpy...will enter a sell position here as price just left the NORM level and headed downwards. see chart for more details.

hahaha...just tried it again and it worked seems it was network. already sold audjpy @78.88 and stop is 15pips TP @ 78.45. check my signature.

also sold gbpjpy now with 25pips stop and TP @ 153.46. check my signature.

EURCAD setup....though am already in this trade with +30 pips +80 pips
I am looking to add few positions to it at the breakout..
