Osun ia still competing with northern states in all indices of education. Borno was ranked higher than Osun in the last WAEC ranking.

I am aware of that. Its a gradual process.

Always get ur facts right before feeding us with rubbish. All d pictures u showed u are exterior, mostly commissioning. Besides, what is d number of d new schools compared to d existing ones? D previous OP was right

If this 4 or 5 renovated schools in oshogbo, the capital of osun is only what aregbesola can boast of in more than 6 years of his administration. Then he's a failure incarnate and those defending him are birds of thesame plumage.

And can we also have the pictures of schools renovated in suburb town and rural areas. Since u are shameless to defend the indefensible.

Pls help me to ask them oo. Those students are so dull. Most are cultists (from jss2). One even raped an elderly woman (Principal) in osogbo last year. One had sex with one of my kopa (2014 batch C) friend with his father's charmed ring. The products of those schs re thugs and dull students. We have only few of them to be good. Most literate parents send their Wards to private schools here.

Are you from Osun? Do you live here? Do you know that most of these buildings you see have not been used at all? Do you know the state of education in Osun state currently? I bet you don't because if you do,you wouldn't type the trash you wrote up there.

Think!

The government is working on resuscitating the collapsed education infrastructure in Osun with is minimal resources.

So you expect govt to only build ALL the schools without doing any other thing? Ogbeni is building 38 modern senior schools, 50 middle schools and 28 elementary schools. That is fair enough considering there is civil servants salaries to pay, run government, build roads, feed 250,000 school children every school day etc.

I give kudo to the state government for the work done so far.

If former governors had built schools like this, maybe Ogbeni would have focused on some other projects, but none did. You should praise Aregbe for doing the right thing, not villify him for what others refused to do.

God bless you jare. If you come to Osun, you will weep for what those kids has become. It is only in Osun that teacher will be scared to correct her students because they might contact the Almighty Governor who mandated that no one should punish students. They have no choice but to let them waste away. I remember the way the Principal of my former school begged me{when i went there for my teaching practise}not to touch any student 'cos her job is on the line. Students see there teachers as enemies. More like toothless dogs.

No one says he should build/revonate all schools. In Ilesa East Lg,only one out of those buildings is been used. Others are surrounded by bush. What is the purpose of buildings with big padlocks? Go to Osogbo and see his Oyestech building,it is no longer in use{atlst nt like bfr}. Go to Ipetu ijesa, there is a giant building serving no purpose. I can boldly tell you that the guy wasted alot of money on stupid things.
Re: Rejoinder: The State Of Public Secondary Schools In Osun State by mastengsynergy: 7:36am On May 09, 2016
These are built to siphon money from the state through contracts awarded to Aregbesola's family and friends. Some were even built using UBEC funds and loans from islamic bank called "Sukuk".
The recent WAEC Results released shows that Osun state has failed in the Education sector. The result was woeful. Forget the structures, the structure is to run Osun dry through contracts. There is no knowledge impacted on the students. Secondary Schools Students in the state has turned to cultist and so many young girls get pregnant.
