What is going on here ? Can two different faiths come from the same God ? I am seriously astonished to learn of this:

“The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind’s judge on the last day.” (Catholic Catechism, page 841

So by Catholic belief, islam is also from their God. Surprise, surprise !!!

Yeah two different faiths cannot come from the same God but 33,000 different christian sects of varying faiths can come from the same God, you are outrightly hypocritic, judgemental and picky.

Yes, two different opposing religions cannot come from the same God. The God of Islam hates the Jews and the Christians to the extent that he commanded Muhammad to kill them. Were Allah the same as Yahweh, would he command the the killing of His own people?
