Well, if i am to be honest here @FrontPageLawyer is right you will be playing the game of Trial and Error.... so your chances are 40-60 but at times you might be lucky and the UKVI handling your case will be nice... and in good mood.

Who is sponsoring the trip? you or your mom? when i know the answers i can help with my opinion...

Hi, please kindly assist with my question, My brother is having his convocation in June and has sent an IV for myself and my mom to attend the convocation ceremony alongside his scanned British passport, my question is this, I do not have a business registration document, but I do buying and selling of stuffs sent to me by my brothers abroad and also do supply of building materials, I have good inflows and outflows out of my accounts, I have 2 landed properties, One is completed and rents been paid, the other is still at completion stage, I'm married with a kid, but did the traditional marriage and not the court marriage, so I have no marriage certificate only pictures, I have been to South Africa twice for visit, one was with my mom, do I have a good case and what are the documents required to be submitted both from myself and the ones my brother needs to send. thanks

Thank you. We did some explanation but maybe it wasn't enough. We will reapply and probably describe in details what makes up the balances in our accounts.

Cross reference your bank statements as well. So you can refer to Appendix A, B, C, etc.

I'm the one sponsoring the trip, one other thing I forgot to add is that I registered a business with my brother in 2013, with myself as the second director but I haven't made use of that for any business as well, as for trial and error, I wouldn't want that, please more contributions will be appreciated so I would know if to proceed with this application or simply back out. Thanks

Hello House,

Glad to see new contributors helping to keep the thread alive. Hey Justwise and Vicjustice, thanks again for your help in the past.
I am back for more like Oliver Twist. cheesy

I'm applying for a 2 years visa, I've had a UK student's visa and visitor visa in the past. Now trying to fill the new form and need some clarification on the finances part. I have a steady government job and I entered in the salary details, but I'm also an official in my professional Association and receive a very small stipend monthly IN CASH as imprest - about 30k.

Do I include that? The Association will do me a letter of intro so they can include this in the letter or leave it out, if not relevant.

Has anybody had this challenge or what do you all suggest?

@justwise my man grin. Please I have invited my mum and my aunt for my graduation in the UK. I also intend to pay for their trip, they'll be in England for 3 days. I have budgeted 1250 GBP each to cover their expenses.

Given that they'll apply from Nigeria, what supporting documents do you think they need to submit?

Both my Mum and Aunt are retired.

Good morning house. I intend applying for a two years visiting visa for my sister and brother but here is my plight, my sister just clocked 18 while brother still 10 (underage). Will she have to stand alone as an applicant or I can combine both of them together. They will both be sponsored by dad

The rest of the documents will come from you and their parents.

Their parents needs to add their birth certificate and letter of consent.

You need to proof that you have adequate accommodation for them and finance to support them while in the UK.
