Warriboy21, how is it going? You good? smiley

Make we reason abeg:

Wanted to ask you a question: what do you gain by shading slimmy2015 at every opportunity? By so doing, don't you know you are also committing the sin you accused him of: being vainglorious and childlike.

I am aware you guys have [serious] issues, but trust me, you gain nothing by trying to make him look like a bad guy. Of course, I won't tell you slimmy2015 hasn't done anything wrong, far from it. His wrongdoings are what have given you enough reasons to be taking jibes at him. But today, he showed class! Therefore, it is only wise that you stop.

Note, I am not taking any side; you both are great folks. Slimmy2015 is a wonderful friend. We came to this thread almost at the same time. Likewise you ― you are also an awesome guy. You add some peculiar and indescribable flavor to this thread, and your zeal ― which was evident right from when you just came here ― says only one thing about you: you are running with a purpose. So, apparently, you are worth more than your now-becoming-habitual shades at slimmy. By demeaning him, you are [unknowingly] demeaning yourself.

All I am saying is that you guys should move on and start learning how to treat and address one another and other members of this thread with respect.

REMEMBER:
“You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.”
― Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

“There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.”
―Ernest Hemingway
The oracle has spoken. The first quote though that man is a pantheist, while the second one is a novelist.....long time bro, how things at your ends?

Boss, are you throwing a shade at University of Toledo? I think there is a Ghananian Nairalander called Pcbo in the school. But, I hope you ain't shading the school because some people hold you at great height.

I think the physician assistant admission office needs a good staff. Asking me to get a syllabus from a former instructor for microbial physiology before they can decide if the course can substitute a lower level microbiology makes no sense. This is after given them the course description downloaded directly from former school website with link. Who doesn't know that a master level microbial physiology is an advanced microbiology? I asked for the substitution since they won't take core courses done outside US. No schools I wrote ever made such horrible request.

So my friend who we went to the same Uni wants to do clinical psychology but she has an undergrad degree in Electrical engineering. She said she just realized thats her passion & she is currently working in a private therapy. According to her she said her parents "forced" her to do engineering. Question now is, can she get schools to do pre-masters or post-baccalaureate? Anyone suggest schools she can look at?

so it's actually legal on nairaland to start posting other people pictures, age and whatever website they are. I will start doing that then.

I am not blaming everyone, my post is not in support of anyone. I am only asking to see if the rules on NL are just for show so that anytime I see anyone name anywhere I can also post it on NL.

a lot of Nigerians guys in the USA are on dating site trying to get an American lady to do their papers, let's be realistic, that's what most of them do. that is there own way of making ends meet. i dont criticise people about what life they chose to live. stevecrun is not the only victim. all this people on NL are on one dating site or another. GLASS house. don't throw stone

so justwise, my posts were just to confirm if rule no 10 is invalid and I can start surfing the Internet looking for people name, address, website etc and post it on NL anytime we have a face off.

Obviously you are just pussyfooting this, this is not about online dating its about romance scamming simple!

please a scammer is a scammer.

Many Nigerians (like me) come on Nairaland to make some transactions with some people i have never met. If such persons have been involved in a form of scam before i will like to know especially if there is a proof. Please show it, so i know to stay away from suc people.

Also if you make transaction with some people and its taking too long to finalise or it is looking like a fraud, please post it here, even if i was not there when your transaction started, i need to know how it went, if the two parties are trustworthy or not - becasue I may need to have a deal with either party later on.

Thanks

ls I hold a first class degree in Civil Engineering with say 3.6/4 CGPA. My GRE score 296 (Q155, V141, W3.5). I have received rejection from Notre Dame and many schools. I need a graduate school where I can get full funding like assistantship. IELTS 6.0. No more money to take exams again

Hi Guys,
I was denied visa again Abuja Consulate. first denial was on April 22, and second was 9th May,...I am on my way again to the bank to pay another visa fee because I just have to get the visa. I have $40,000 funding from my uncle.

After the second denial, I was bold to ask the visa officer his reasons for denying me,..He said it was unusual for an uncle to spend that much on his nephew's education and that it was impossible for my company to ask me to return to them after my studies because I worked only for a year with them,.just when I was about bringing out my uncle's bank statement and the affidavit of support, he told me to just go for now and called on the next person.

Please I need your candid advise.
I want to schedule my appointment this time in Lagos, and I intend to get an official letter of support from my uncle stating that I am his nephew and he is willing to pay in addition to his bank statement and the affidavit of support from the school. what can you advise?

Also, my uncle's account statement is in dollars,.his dominiciary account,.Do they accept such statements?

Please advise ASAP because I don't want to miss this opportunity my uncle gave to me. I want to do an M.Sc in Electrical Engineering in the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut.....

Notre dame is a highly ranked institution and your gre score is too low to be offered admission talk less of funding. I think you should prepare and retake the exams. Try to score a minimum of 320 and I believe a good school will take you.

Just take chill pie because the stuff is yet to be delivered to dhs offie and after they received it, they will take it to bank and process the check for 1-3 working days..

If lucky, they can get payment on day one and update your payment status if not they wait untill bank clear the check

Bold 1
You need to give conc reason why your uncle wanted to sponsor you and spend that such amount on you in order for the VO to be convinced in his/her spirit/mind

Bold 2,
Sometimes people need to be aware of things they tell VO during their interview because some excuses are not reasonable at all. So you need to tell the VO why it's 100% possible for the company to ask you to come back and continue to work with them after your studies unless it's family company or business..
