Yorubas are the most diplomatic race in this country.
I so much respect them.
Yorubas always think the way forward, they won't allow any set of silly militants (home or abroad) destroy what they have being building for centuries.
Yorubas know very well the saying that ' it takes few minutes to destroy but years to rebuild' hence their display of what people who don't understand term cowardice.
Let Nigeria break today, and you will see how silently prepared the westerners are.
Looking at what has become of Jos(a once beautiful city) turn upside down, I can't help but gnash my teeth whenever I rethink.

There is this thing about Ijaw people, They are very smart and mature in the way they handle their things. Some foolish people would call them cowards, but they are far from it. It`s mature and people with war experience that would understand what these two groups just did to forestall likely bloodbath. Ijaw people are really warriors, sensible one for that matter that know when to fight and when to dialogue unlike our other friends who fight before thinking.

You mean the Federal government should bow down to a group of militants?

You not fit to be the head of a family not to talk more of a nation.

If you want to know how stupid, jobless and senseless most Nigerian youths are, just read comments on social media. It is obvious most are mentally enslaved and the future can not even be entrusted to them. No wonders the grandpas..are the ones still dictating the course of their lives and determining what lies ahead of them.....it is painful that this generation is making the mistakes of their fathers. I am sure no right thinking being will support APC and PDP as their presently constituted. The belief that that there is no option is an indication of how low youths think of themselves. Jonathan was a disaster, but to think Buhari is a messiah is a purest reflection of insanity...I will never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers. The case of this govt is a good example.
Until youths come together and do away with these politicians, the future remains bleak.

Jonathan must call his boys to order. When Obasanjo talked of trained mercenaries people call him names. They are manifesting now, thier Jesus was defeated in election hence the avenge. From the name we know them. Jonathan must act now.

Jonathan is studying the responses Buhari gave when the North used Bokoharam to disturb his Government and he will soon act by stating that "attack on Niger Delta Militants is attack on the South". Does that sound familiar to you hypocrites? Zombies!!!!!

I think DSS should invite you for questioning. Its like You know so much that can be helpful in their work.

[b][size=15pt]Keys things Buhari should do to handle this issues:

1. Either President Buhari and Vice President Osinbanjo, should travel down to the Niger delta regions to place like Port Harcourt and or Warri and hold talks with the militant or their representative. The meeting should be a kind of town hall meeting and the government should open up and address key demands of the Niger delta regions. It is not a meeting that government should start bribing militant with millions of naira.

2. The meeting should address key demand of the Niger delta such as development of the Niger delta. It is not about NDDC, DELSOPADEC, etc these are draining tools that promoted corruption.

3. Buhari must NEVER take this militant for a ride as their region is the one that is sustaining the Nigerian economy. He must be prepared to engage in constructive dialogue with the militant. Buhari should avoid the use of threat words that will increase tension in the Niger delta.

He happily sow the seed of discord and the people that were fanning the ember for him then, are reaping it in bountiful measures now.

May we never have such a Clueless and Corrupt President again in this country. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Gej never sack bank MDS and replace them with his kinsmen

But, GEJ called some people rascals in national media.

GEJ said some people are his pillars.

GEJ played politics with some people's lives by not attending to BH issue on time.

GEJ and his party alleged that some people wants to islamize Nigeria.

GEJ watched with his eyes wide open as our commonwealth was being looted by him and his cronies.

GEJ sacked a CBN governor for saying the truth.

Yorubas are gentle lions, unfortunately some think bravery means behaving like Fulani herdsmen.

As for those crying about smile 12, I guess the life of Yorubas lost during that attack means more than the Ibos and Fulanis killed. Wonder why Fulanis apologized to the Yoruba nation after the attack?

Yorubas have the means to attack economically, systematically and economically. It ain't all about chestbeating and making noise on social media while remaining irrelevant in the scheme of things.

As for OPC, still don't take y'all serious. You've been bought by political stooges. Until you do the following:

-----

1. Create a vigilante group in each Yoruba state
Ensure that young and able men, hand picked by their community and LGAs guard each LGAs of Yorubaland. How do you pay? The money that you got from GEJ should be able to pay for this. Demand that our leaders, politicians and the rich in our midst invest in Yorubaland security. Obviously, depending on Nigerian police is a waste of time. What did they do during Miles 12 or during Fulani attacks? Your guess is as good as mine.

2. Use your collective voice to demand state police
All Yoruba leaders should use their collective choice to demand state police. There is more than enough evidence suggesting that having a national police just doesn't work. It makes no sense to have to call Aso Rock when Ondo is under attack. Also, ensure that those employed are civilians/residence of that state. I don't understand how a Fulani police stationed in Ondo is supposed to understand Ondo people's plight during Fulani attack.

3. Send out Alert Letters
Inform people of possible and potential attacks. Let people be on alert for suspicious activities. Guide them on what to do during an attack and how they can protect themselves and other civilians around them.

4. Create safehouses across Yorubaland
This safehouse is where people will get help and assistance after attacks. Food, first aid kits, and other essential tools should be available in this safehouse. Inform your residence where these safehouses are located. Also, ensure that groups are created to go out and help people after an attack.

5. Make use of the Odua radio station.
Earlier this year, I heard that Gani created an Odua radio state. Make good use of it. let this be the communication tools that You can use to spread words throughout the SW. This radio should spread information about awareness, getting help, and finding solutions.

This is what you should be planning instead of making noise. We Yorubas have lost hope in your noisemaking. Show us that you prioritize your people and not politics.
God bless your instinct my brother... Omo Odua tokan Tokan

In as much as i understand your point as regards political involvement, what the OPC has done in this post shows that they're proactive and sensitive as far as security of Yorubaland is concerned and this is commendable.

It is only a certain tribe on the East of the Niger that thinks dialogue is an act of cowardice. If they had a proper dialogue with the Federal Military Government of Nigeria then 1 million plus of their kins wouldnt have died like a common cockroach. Last quote " War should be the last resort to ending a conflict" think abt your people, what you have built over d years going down in minutes.
