Four weeks ago we were paying subsidy, four weeks ago, I bought a liter of fuel for 210naira in a petrol station; where then was the benefit of the so-called subsidy? Indeed the country's tough to survive in lately, but you have to till the farm with your back to the scorching sun, before planting and reaping good farm products. Even if Buhari hasnt brought milk and honey to your neighbourhood in his one-year-presidency, its no use calling him names because PDP didnt offer you sugar and groundnut in their 16years of economic mal-treatment.

You know....I really do not get wailers.

Back in 2012...most of them were all for the removal of subsidy (Nothing wrong with that....even some of us GEJ opponents got converted to that).

But now that the subsidy is gone....especially at a time when we do not have the money to spend on the subsidy....wailers are suddenly in favor of low oil prices.

Of course...folks like me believe that subsidy has to go...whether oil price is high or low...because it makes economic sense.

As for the ''zombies'' opposing the subsidy removal.....consider that we no longer have the cash for any thing subsidy. Unless you folks want us to start taking IMF loans just to make ends meet.


But beyond the whole subsidy noise...and beyond the whole hue and cry....the real elephant in the room is Nigeria's resource dependency. Nigeria can have enough forex....and coincidentally the technical solutions to our fuel needs among others....if we developed an industrial society.

But, I do not see wailers and zombies calling for that. All the wailers and zombies want is government where they get awoof...without a thought for where the money comes from. (Tomorrow....if Lucifer comes with N100trillion in exchange for their souls they would take it).

My advice to Nigerians.....stop looking for awoof money. Get your governors and your president to invest in education and innovation....the same way Lee Kwan Yew did for Singapore. Resource dependency is the reason why we are broke...and the sooner we make the necessary sacrifices to get rid of our dependency....the better.

Oil subsidy, and our dependency on oil.....has got to stop. Period.

If you resist the removal of subsidy now, you will suffer for it later. If they had allowed GEJ to remove subsidy things would have been better now. Majority of Nigerians would have adjusted and we wouldn't have fuel scarcity again but the spineless coward caved under pressure and some brain dead trolls are now trying to intimidate Buhari not to go through with subsidy removal.

Buhari is the greatest political fraud and deceit in Nigeria's history. Some of us who saw these things warned that APC is a fraud.

Jonathan removed fuel subsidy in 2012 and some Nigerians wanted him dead...today, Buhari has done that same thing and perennial cowards have remained silent....speak out now all you sycophants and enemies of Goodluck Jonathan that have brought this political and economic calamity to Nigeria...speak up and clear your moral conscience..... whatever goes around turns around....

Chairman, you forget say when prices of crude rise, price for fuel dey also increase and vice versa. Money wey we pay for subsidy in 2012 plenty pass wetin we pay for subsidy today. Forget broke matter, subsidy na the only place wey masses dey benefit from govt. Govt broke but them still get money to buy chasis motor for senators and ministers say them wan 20mil as housing allowance. No be the same broke govt dey provide this money?
