AC - abdominal circumference. This is the measurement where the ring went around your baby's belly, like where a belt would go.

FL - fetal length. This is the length of the thigh bone from the knee joint to the hip joint.

BPD - bi-parietal diameter. This is the measurement of a line drawn from ear to ear, through your baby's brain.

I don't think its worth bothering about. These are just statistics. Your baby is also in the right position for delivery(cephalic).

gm house, pls my wife is in her last month and still feels feverish with bitter mouth even as she is taking pregnacare plus. I read about sulfadoxine
and pyrimethamine. (Artesunate) recommended by WHO. pls can she use this along side with the existing pregnacare plus?

Hey mamas, is farenax (artesunate+sulfadoxine+Pyrimethamine) safe in second trimester? Was given this cos of malaria 1+ cry

The drug inhibits the production of folic acid, hope my lo won't suffer FA deficiency during the period of taking this drug? Also read that the drug causes fetal malformation in first trimester, if it can do this in first trimester, that means it may still have some adverse effects in second trimester

@ Teamie just relax you are almost there. Please be on strict bed rest so that the cerclage does no give away finally. Are you on nifedipine? As this will help relax the uterine walls and prevent contraction.
