Teacher caused the death of a girl.

This is plain horrible.
How could the teacher punish a 3 year old this way?

Even so, I believe the medical attention the child received was too poor in the first place.
What sort of treatment would give room for this degree of burn to result to complication that eventually killed the child?

Poor educational institutions.
Poor healthcare institutions.

This is one of those very painful deaths that is entirely avoidable.

I recall Damilola Adegbite was roundly abused on Nairaland not long ago when she said she didn't want any teacher beating her child. The truth is that schools are not the way they used to be. People charged with educating and enforcing discipline of children are psychologically unfit to provide any sort of care to anyone let alone children. There are people wandering around with a huge chip on their shoulders, resentment, anger and frustration. Guess who bears the brunt of that transfered aggression. Innocent children.

Many of those in the teaching profession have no business there the first place. Some are psychologically unable or unfit to manage the task of teaching. The high end schools are not left out as well.

Sometimes, i wonder what the recruitement is like. RIP, little girl. Nigerians schools are filled with misfits who call themselve teachers.

Oh my God !
What was the teacher thinking ? punishing someone this way, a 3 year old for that matter. My daughter will be 3 in two months time and i can't imagine her being treated this way. We really need to be careful the schools we enroll our children in . Some teachers have no business been in the teaching profession, they are really frustrated and take it out on their innocent students. What could this kid have done to warrant such treatment ?
I feel so pained right now. May her innocent soul rest in peace.

Lol! My dear, been extremely busy with life oh.....Too many things going on & so I have a full plate on my hands...New baby come join the matter again... That pushed me to automatic NL observer....lol!
