I am confused because anytime i browse with my laptop via the modem, the browsing speed is always very fast unlike via android which will sometimes at the same moment with the time i browse with laptop unable to connect. And if it connects, so slow. Why is that the browsing via system most of the time not affected by bad network like phones? Or is their a setting i haven't done on my phone that will have cause it to be as fast as laptop browsing?

Your phone is SLOW.

It has to dowith the bandwidth allocated to them.

Whenever you want to buy a phone or a modem, first check the network speed in the specification.

Your modem has better downlink than your phone.
E.g 4g modem with over 250mbps will give you faster speed than regular 4g phone with about 21mps downlink .
And vice versa.

Infact last night, I stream video online via my laptop on youtube and other websites. And it was playing as though I was watching DVD. Very fast without any scratching or hanging.

Phone was configured to do so many things. But modem was just design to do only one thing Internet

No o. My Own modem can call and send SMS o on the laptop.

It is because a lot of noobs think that browsing speed is solely dependent on your ISP. You can never compare browsing on a laptop with browsing on a phone because the speed of browsing is a function of your processor, memory (RAM), hard drive speed (in case of downloading), your modem/router speed and finally your ISP.
And those stuffs are always higher on laptops
