Monimatic:
Immediately Buhari jet out of the country for his next round of junketting, CBN will announce the Devaluation of the Naira.
That is how Buhari's Government operates, Buhari will travel out first and the Government will announce several anti people policies, that has been the trend and pattern since Buhari assumed power May 29 last year.

Obviously you did not read the response from CBN!
The obvious truth i meant is that, the last resort may be devaluation if things doesn't work as planned.

did u read the section where it was clearly stated that "it might be the last resort IF things don't work out"? Which clearly means the potency of devaluation is very HIGH
Re: CBN Denies Naira Devaluation by booblacain(m): 9:23am On May 14, 2016
believe it or not, the government/cbn is behind the rumor in the first place, to gauge the public. if the criticism had favored them they would have gone ahead to devalue. this has been the way they operate. their real intention is clearly there in the denial.

Re: CBN Denies Naira Devaluation by dam4wummy(m): 10:16am On May 14, 2016
So why is the exchange rate for those that wants to import fuel #290/$ and not the #200/$or so (the so called CBN rate??
Re: CBN Denies Naira Devaluation by Nobody: 10:23am On May 14, 2016
They have devalued the naira, it was on this basis they arrived at the N145/L PMS price. They cant expect marketers to get dollars at N199 in the open market.

It is becoming very obvious that there are no serious brains in this government especially in the financial sectors. At this point, it is only crude swap that can ease the pressures on our exchange rate while ensuring we have PMS.

What PMB has done is effectively found a way for Nigerians to blame marketers instead of blame him when marketers cannot get dollars to buy PMS and feed the country.

Nigerians brace up for all time high inflation, scarcity of everything, little investment due to scarce capital and unfavorable investment climate.

As for the so called refineries and private investment idea they are using as the selling point for this deregulation, .. it is funny because worldwide investment in the petrochemical industry is in a slump. Big players will rather expand existing structures than invest in new ones due to the high capital requirements. The only way out is a huge monopoly of the entire Nigerian market by a single big player with ridiculously high prices

I pray for this country

This denial, uncertainty & confusion isn't helpful. If what was done with oil price is not subsidy withdrawal, then what other explanation other than official devaluation.
