Should APC die, if Yorubas start another party today and then collab with the North, they'll win the presidency tomorrow grin

A yoruba president in your head.
In all our heads.

Do you agree that APGA is irrelevant? If Yorubas take over APGA, tomorrow they'll win the presidency.

Sanusi just reached out to the east very recently. These are the people i am talking about.
Not lightweights.

If the PDP magically wins in 2019, the East must wait till 2027 after the current northern PDP presidential ticket has run its two terms.

The only hope for an Igbo Presidency in the APC (aka Amala and Tuwo party in the East) is through Rochas Okorocha, and if Ibos could reject Ojukwu at the Presidential polls TWICE, then 'Okoroawusa' has no chance.

The APC Presidency in 2023 for Yorubas will be like taking candy from a baby, especially with Buhari's blessings on the candidate.

As long as you remember to collabo with the north and offer them something we can't.
But we did the collabo first, and we can do it again.

My brother, we all know this.

No be PDP dey romance North/SW ticket for 2019? Ibos like deluding themselves. Tell me, which SE politician is popular in both SW/North.

They know that the North/SW > SS/SE. Even if the North/SW don't agree in anything else, in politics, they will always be an ally.

Yeah right.
The same Yoruba that are already losing out in the national assembly politics, or you think political allignment just fall from the sky.
You think buhari would support a yoruba presidency just because they voted him in? The political stabiliy is not a factor?
We just have to wait and see though. I could bet if it were possible that a yoruba presidency in the forseable future would take a miracle.

Which national assembly are we losing out on and which ones are ibos magically gaining?
Ibos aren't even relevant in a PDP. APGA is dead. APC is SW/North. Ibo should campaign under KOWA.

It is people like sanusi with oil wells in the niger-delta to protect that determines what happens to northern votes. Not you.
I knew mine would irk you as well, and my statement is not just the way I feel like in your case, but is the actual political reality. Who will vote for an Ibo man who won't even vote for himself grin?

Cry me a river, you cannot be President whether the fact comes from the lips of Dangote or an Almajiri.

After PDP has whooped tinubu's ass in the national assembly, you think they would now give their VP slop to a yoruba? You are funny. This is the first time i am hearing this yoruba VP BS which is highly untrue for obvious reasons.
Their power base is in the SE/SS. You have nothing to offer them as long as tinubu decides what happens in the SW. All your eggs are in the APC BASKET.

The only civilian yoruba president you've ever had was NOT VOTED BY yorubas. OBJ was voted by Igbo and hausa. You prefered Falae to OBJ, we Igbo and hausa decided it must be OBJ and your falae choice was trounced.

The truth is that as long as the northerners contest the election against a yorubaman they will win. Shagari+Ekwueme trounced your god Awolowo at the polls. There can be no yoruba president again as long as a northerner contests. This is a political reality, that we both know.
Wait and see.
The advantage of Yoruba's in politics is that we ain't sentimental lots and would do horse trading if need be. Take for example, most of we Yoruba's feels Igbo should get presidency after PMB but with IPOB menace we doubt if their presidency would make a sense to us. If around that that time we get feelers that the hatred expressed by IPOB is a childish outburst, then I'm sure Yoruba's wont use it against Igbo candidacy. But, if we still felt that the hatred still persist, forget it we won't vote an Igbo president.
The greatest blessings of Yoruba's is that we wont lament like Igbo's if the man we support does not win. We just strategize for another opportunity.
Re: A Yoruba President After Buhari In 2023 Is A MUST! by Karm16: 10:29am On May 14, 2016
Please abeg, which Ibo man can steal all SW/North/SE's votes? grin Anyone with the answer to this question wins a cracker.
An ibo man supported by North/SW (if any exists) will be hated by SE because he'll definitely be licking SW's ass.

Let us wait and see the political reality. Northern senators voted for an igbo man kicking the yoruba imposter to the curbs in the senate. That is example of real life scenario, not online babble from a deluded poster.

What the flip are you talking about? I'm telling you that the North, Buhari and Tinubu will never support and Ibo presidency, you're here speaking concocted parables.

Regarding political stability, that's what the eastern PDP ticket is meant for, to keep y'all going till 2027. A further likelihood is for a SS minority candidate for the APC to properly split your votes and ensure all is calm.

I am happy to be on this forum, so educative.
Buhari took over power in 2015 under APC with a heavy support from we yorubas.
I keep hearing that South East APC are warming up for APC 2023 presidential ticket, Apc should not dare it.
After Buhari, A yoruba man is next to take over from him,
I don't give a damn about the reactions from South East and South South. Btw they are the 5%.
Goodluck Jonathan marginalized we yorubas by Using Igbos mainly in his administration.
We taught him a lesson in 2015 and today we have a yoruba VP and come 2023, we will fight for a yoruba man to take over from Buhari.
Is it the bed bugs that bite your ass last night that is affecting your head?
Or is it the amala with the stale ewedu you ate last night that caused it?
May be, I can conclude that it wasn't because you've not brushed your teeth. That something died inside your tribalistic guts.

When half of you voted for buhari because of osibanjo- THAT IS SENTIMENTALITY.
I can show you threads on nairaland where known APC zombies turned down a buhari they feared a yoruba man is not going to be on it.
Btw, everything you claim to do now, we already did. Your politics is borrowed from our page.
We knew how to ally with the north long before you did.

Lmao your optimism is priceless. I guess what you meant to type was that Northern PDP senators voted for a Fulani/Yoruba Saraki and an Ibo man as pacifier deputy, like they're planning to do with the Presidential ticket in 2019.

You are simply not presidential material.

I don't know about buhari, but sorry, even he can't control who APC throws up.And that is a combination of factors most of which are profit based.
As tyrannical as OBJ was, he couldn't stop a yar'a dua even though he was openly opposed to it.

So they are northerners? Good. WE are making progress.
For a country currently in the doldrums, governed by lunatics, it would be an honour to have an igbo president run it the way it ought to be ran like a profitable and viable venture just like igbo sons and daughters are helping in western governance and far developed democracies, and not just a socialistic dump it is now.
The bar of the presidency has been set so low that even a 2 by 2 trader with common sense would be an upgrade.
Btw, an igbo man fought for an independent one- Nigeria by out-debating the brits when your northern ancestors wanted more years of colonialism. Surely, destiny has given them that right as custodians. MAybe that is why fate has kept Nigeria backward.

@ bolded, read my last response.

@red, I thought you said on this thread that you don't rate the APC, we had no idea you admired them from a distance. Stick to your script.

The fact is that the SS are more politically mature than the Ibos, nothing personal, which is why they stand a greater chance in 2023.

The APC knows where it's electoral strength lies, which is why I'm telling you that it's impossible for the party to throw up an eastern candidate anytime in the foreseeable future. Its not that daft.

Why not ask buhari to sack them all.?
You are just a tribalist, nothing more. And your opinion counts for nothing.
Am not a tribalist. Am a realist. U may not like what am saying but its the truth. Its true that not all igbos want this country to scatter, but the voter cant pick or choose. The voter looks at the group. Generally an igbo contest will be seen as an enemy, someone who doesnt believe in our unity.
