Guys in the House. I'm having issues with my laptop's connection to the net. Im using a Dell Windows 10 laptop. Of recent I have realised that the laptop's internet connection gives a slow response. Even when using my office wifi, its slow, while other PCs have fast connection. I use Kapersky internet security and its up to date. Guys what can be wrong. Its really baffling me as it just started about three weeks ago and I have been using the laptop since last year November

Kaspersky Internet security may be the problem if not properly configured(online protection,phishing...).i always advice Kav instead.in some cases,u may even experience difficulties opening some sites.there are other factors which may also be responsible but from ur observation that it's only when u connect online.
Here is a simple test to confirm,remove the kaspersky the check if ur still having the same problems

please i need your help on what to do. my laptop does not power on if i press the power button. it can only power on when i remove the battery and plug it direct to a source of light , even when the battery is fully charged. the problem started after an engineer changed my crashed hard disk to a new hard disk.

I just received HP Elitebook 2560p US used Window 7 Pro. I notice the left CTRL key isn't working but all other Key is working. What could be the problem?

My HP not starting up. The screen turns on and shows "press the ESC key for startup menu" at the bottom of the screen, stays like 2 seconds then the laptop goes off. Comes on again, does the same thing and goes off. This continues like that if I don't long press power button. I've tried removing the battery, holding down power button for ages then plugging power cord. All that shit ain't helping. What do I do?

you have to pass through fresh installation but u might not delete any partition bcus of ur files.

I don't think laptop keyboard uses backlight unless num lock, caps lock and scroll lock ; the issue could be with your performance settings BTW that is not an issue because that development will save your battery.

First confirm that the bluetooth drivers are installed and working properly by following these steps:

Click on Start
Right click on Computer
Choose Manage
Click on Device Manager
Click on the plus sign beside Network Adapters
See is bluetooth is in the list
If it is on the list does it have a red or yellow icon attached to it?
If it is not on the list. scroll down it would be on the list (but not under Network Adapters) with a yellow or red icon.
If you don't see it at all then either your laptop doesn't have bluetooth or it is damaged or not properly plugged in. You either need a hardware tech or buy a usb bluetooth dongle.

If you see it on the list with a yellow or red icon it means the driver is not installed or has a faulty. You will have to install the proper drivers either over the internet or by downloading and installing offline.

Please Do Not Turn Off Your Computer. for over a week now. it stays that way for two hours sometimes.. pls help it's really frustrating.... especially when I have serious work to do..

Is your wireless preconfigured to another wifi AP? Is your wireless and your phone hotspot configured for DHCP?

Just hard power it off by holding down the power off button. When it boots up again disable Windows Update. BTW what version of Windows is this?

Uncle, this is nothing but pure grammar. I don't understand a thing. My tab connects to my phone's hot spot and vice versa. but my laptop doesn't connect to both.

I don't think it was preconfigured cus it connected like 2 weeks ago.

Please help for the past 4 days my modem has refused to connect (HSDPA) when I click connect it would only read authenticating then stop I have done all I can from uninstalling to switching network all proved negative.

Not too sure but u can try an upgrade with a 64bit OS file. Otherwise na fresh install you dry look so ọ. Fresh install is not so bad as it will create a folder Windows.old from were you can retrieve your old files but not your programs *I think*

Sorry but it seems your user profile has been corrupted. Can you access the default Administrator profile or any other profile?
