The strike won't happen. People are seeing reasons for the subsidy removal so all we need now is patience |

Beehshorp:One of the wailing zombies speaking, see as ur sense reach. It was GEJ that fustrated Nigerians even with partial removal of subsidy in 2012. All the savings made then was stolen by GEJ and his men under the corrupt SURE-P program. You are indeed a dead wailing zombie. |

They should not try it oooo. They we just come and be deceiving Nigerians that strike after they've collected bribe. They know where they are going. May be at the end evertyn will end up in #120 per litres. All the prevois strike, what was the gain so far, we are stilloving backward. Useless set of people. They have taken people of Nigeria for granted. What is essence of the strike, they should forget it , we don't need their help |

omenka:I still don't get our way of thinking in this clime, A govt came in just as the oil bubble burst and seems people can't link low crude price to the "hardship" being currently experienced!!! As it is, there is only so much the government can do, only concerted efforts and belt tightening can weather this treacherous storm... However need Bubu & other government officials need to make some adjustments too, Nigerians shouldn't be only people to suffer!!! NLC is just playing to the gallery, they know what's up, they know what they will get is somewhere around 110-120, then minimum wage will go to 30-35.... Adams Oshio knows where the pendulum will swing hence his preemption! As it is, without a stop to using scarce forex for PMS imports, fuel availability will still be a problem, money for projects won't be available, allocation to states won't improve, salary payment would still continue to be a problem for state governments...... I still can't believe OBJ & Jona gave out 20 licences for new refineries and one didn't even come on board in 16yrs!! They were all busy importing PMS and collecting subsidy!! Na to wait till 2018 for Dangote to finish hin own!! A taya for dis country aswerigod!! ![]() |

amtaken:And what have we benefitted ever since when it was way cheaper than now? Yet many cry no jobs, bad roads, no light, nothing works! And is it when we claim to be subsidizing and yet get the fuel at high-cost a preferred option. No one has ever benefitted from the subsidy other than the marketers and those in corridors of power, milking the Nation dry, that's why despite subsidizing, many can't still afford a good life, where there's a huge gap between the rich and the poor. Even the SURE P so brought then was marred with corruption at some points, so my dear, not facing reality that would never go away is cuddling a near death man telling him all his well expecting miracle from above. Deregulation would have being good, but had we had a functional refinery working beyond this present cap would have being better. With the wealth In this land occasioned by our natural resources, we can't boast of a functional and well structured refinery, very pathetic! Our leaders of old sold the country's future. Politics in this country is about deceit, GEJ pegged his at #141,PMB pegged his at #145,whichever, if deregulation would set the country's foot genuinely in the right direction, no sane man would object except those that like the condition the country had being in since the fourth Republic. Should we continue in sin that Grace may abound? |
