I am convinced that the only factor nysc is taken into consideration which has necessitated their silence as regards opening the portal for us to print our CUL is this issue of impending nationwide strike by organised labour and not issue of lack of fund. If the strike issue is not addressed latest tomorrow then I foresee postponement of orientation exercise for stream 2 PCMs God forbid that. I think our problem now is the people we elected into power by our votes and not nysc. I pray the issue of strike will be addressed latest by tomorrow by God's grace.

I don't believe that. It's not today NLC and whatever started going on strike and they don't correlate.

I just called the abuja head office, those who choosed the IDP states are to go on saturday, and they are those getting message from NYSC, the rest of us are to go in JULY

i lost a friend who was scheduled for stream 2 like us. the day he died, he was just tired of being idle and decided to go swim at a pool. WHILE AT THE POOL, he had a sharp headache and off he died. my thought was "what if there was nothing like stream 1&2 shey my frnd for dey camp?" sometimes creating unnecessary division among people with equal status makes no sense. only God knows how many people who are in stream 2 that have lost their lives out of frustration of being idle at home.

if he was in camp i wonder where he would have seen a pool to swim. i know many will say his time was up but remember that being at a place at a wrong time sometimes gives the devil a chance to act too. he has been laid to rest since last week. he was the first graduate in his clan. i will miss my dear friend Stephen Nwobodo....RIP Bro.

When you see petrol coming close to fire, you do not say everything is well just because you want to display positivity.
I don't see anything wrong if he tells us his fears based on what his co-tenant told him.
The best you would have done is to "waka pass". I'm sure you will lash him harder if things go the way his co-tenant said, and he comes here to say someone said.

We really need to let the world hear our plight. Mobilization for a peaceful demostration visiting media houses and govt secretariat. This will avert the postponement.
Once we miss this week then stream2 might be after ramada that is July.

sounds funny and unrealistic cause i graduated from adamawa and their IDP Camps are the Nysc permanent site. before i came home and till date, the camp is still occupied by thousands of IDPs. corpers posted to Borno, Adamawa and Yobe do have their orientation in other states not the said state of Deployment. That person in the head office must have dranked ogogoro to lie to you my dear. don't mind them and their lies. Corpers posted to Adamawa mostly use Taraba camp for orientation. so how will only them go and use taraba camp ignoring the originally posted persons to taraba? shey u get my gist?

lets just ignore them and see what they want to do by monday. how was ur nyt?

I also almost lose my life a week and few days ago... I had a fight with one guy, unknown to me, he was a cult guy.... He called his gang and told them I was a cultist and that I almost killed him and those guys came with guns and one of them used the gun and hit my right hand shoulder and almost dislocate it.... Then I knew one of them in the group... Called his name and he told the leader of that group to stop fixing the bullets... That's how I got saved!!!!

This happened few days when stream1 had gone to camping...... This delay is becoming boring and frustrating! In the previous thread... Ppl would've think of online protest... Here's different! Everone here's speculating.
