Thanks sir, I have replied the pm.

Man you are lucky, your HDD is intact it only shifted out of position because some screws are missing. Was it worked on before? Anyways when you come tomorrow I will look for screws for it, I'm at home at the moment.

I almost had the heart attack of my life an hour ago when water accidentally spilled on my laptop and it showed something i can't really explain then i removed the battery immediately and dried it with towel and i fixed the battery back, it came on it self then went blank, i removed the battery again and sun dried it for about an hour and now it's working perfectly fine now, should i still dry it and should i be worried about anything? p.s i'm having a project seminar on friday and i need it functioning properly now .

Thanks very much sir, I really appreciate. It was worked on before, it had issues (it will display for 5 seconds and go off, it got to a point it refuse to power on). I took it to Zone 3 for repairs, it was after the repairs that the internal CD Rom refuse display on the computer and I guess the screws went missing there. I really appreciate the time you use in checking it out. God bless you real good, sir.

If you get water in any of your electronics make sure you immediately turn it off and remove the battery if it has one. DO NOT turn it on again to check if it is working until is properly dried out. As a lady I am sure you can get a hair dryer, use it to blow hot air on the gadget for an hour in 5mins intervals and repeat like 6 times over a 24hr period to be safe. You should do it for your laptop immediately to forestall any moisture damage.

You may have to go a bit technical.

Turn the system on and immediately start pressing F8 it will take you to several options.
Choose Safe Mode with Command Prompt.
When the command prompt appears input this command:

net user administrator /active:yes

Press enter

Restart (Press ctrl+alt+del)

You should have the Administrator profile active. Do this and let me know how it goes.

First confirm that the bluetooth drivers are installed and working properly by following these steps:

Click on Start
Right click on Computer
Choose Manage
Click on Device Manager
Click on the plus sign beside Network Adapters
See is bluetooth is in the list
If it is on the list does it have a red or yellow icon attached to it?
If it is not on the list. scroll down it would be on the list (but not under Network Adapters) with a yellow or red icon.
If you don't see it at all then either your laptop doesn't have bluetooth or it is damaged or not properly plugged in. You either need a hardware tech or buy a usb bluetooth dongle.

If you see it on the list with a yellow or red icon it means the driver is not installed or has a faulty. You will have to install the proper drivers either over the internet or by downloading and installing offline.
Thanks for the information; but bluetooth is not there and can I possibly install bluetooth on the system?

1. What do you mean by refresh? Are you trying to reinstall Windows?

2. Try downloading and installing the relevant phone software.
