I just watched an embarrassing interview on CNN of a Nigerian army spokes person on the development,I had a hard time believing the military personnel was a general.
We are in far bigger trouble than I thought.

Finally it is not unusual to recover such girls with different names. Boko haram themselves will immediately upon capture change their names to Islamic names, and having been forced to accept that for almost two years, it is not unusual for the girl herself to report the name given to her by book haram as her name.

You're right. Across the North, people add their villages' to their names as if it is a proper name. The 'Falmata' may be her nickname, who knows. But it would have been easier if she had identified herself with her formal name.

Mbalala is the name of the town in Chibok not her name.
