I was thinking about it earlier today. If FG just released money today, have they paid this that will kit us and all. And how will they get these kits ready and move bit around to all the camps in a short time. I think I understand why they added logistics to the message. Why do ppl panic like this. First it was rumors abt no stream to and yet we have our CUL, now this? The only msg i recieved from them was to print my CUL. They cant move camp date without at least a wk notice. As for me am going to book my ticket tomorrow msg or no msg. Tank ur.

ordered the immediate release of funds for the
mobilization exercise of the 2016 Batch A, stream
11 service year.
This followed the outcry by the Director General of
the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Brigadier
General Sule Kazaure that lack of funds might
stall the exercise if nothing was urgently done.
On Monday, Kazaure, while appearing before the
Senate Committee on Youth and Sports, said all
the affected corps members were to remain in
their various homes due to non-availability of
fund arising from N13 billion shortfall in the
agency’s 2016 budget.
Consequently, the government intervened,
approved and released funds to accommodate the
2016 Batch A stream 11 orientation course.
Reacting to the development, the NYSC in a
statement by its Director of Press and Public
Relations, Mrs. Abosede Aderibigbe, commended
the Federal Government for its prompt intervention
to accommodate the corps members.
The statement reads: “Management also wishes
to use this medium to inform and assure
prospective corps members, parents, guardians
and the general public that the 2016 Batch A
stream 11 orientation course holds as scheduled
from Saturday 21st May to Monday, 6th June,
2016 while the swearing in ceremony of the 2016
Batch A stream 11 corps members holds on
Monday, 23rd May, 2016.
“Prospective corps members are by this notice
directed to print their call up letters online and
collect from their various institutions of
graduation.”
