NYSC doesnt use stream 1 and 2..they Use I and II..check ur because you are not in Stream I and the TT on NYSC web...secondly That General Masage has to apear on the WEBsite..NYSC doest sent msages to d General public..they send individual msages...I Havnt Recivd it and ICANT RECEIVE IT.

I received the sms too from NYSC. Called a colleague to verify, said he didnt receive it; I then forward the message to him.

I loved the analysis going on here. I feel as suggested by some, it is the work of hackers misusing customized bulk sms.

Our kits must have been ready for a while now. It takes weeks to make d kits na. It must have been ready even before stream 1 sef. Moreso ia friend of mine who was in zamfara for stream 1 said he saw enough kits in d store there and as he said it was more than what remained for stream 1 it was obviously meant for stream 2.

The timetable did not change, it is still May 21, don't u think it is too late for them to make sudden changes.They had d chance to change it last week but they didn't, y will they change it now dat we have printed our call up letters and some people dat are going to far places have booked tickets for their flights and those going by road have gone to pay. I don't think they are going to be so daft to have made PCM's go this far b4 postponing. #justsaying#.

and what apened to the 13 billion naira released yesterday??and y ll nysc write batch A in small letter

This thing isn't rocket science tbh.
If there's a development like this. You don't receive a text first.
1. It would be on the official facebook first.
2. Their twitter handle would have updated it.
3. You'd have bn hearing rumors before texts. Texts are always the last mode of communication.
4. What's the percentage of people that got the text compared to those that regularly get texts from Nysc
5. Nysc never composes messages like that.
6. Stream 1? Really 'stream 1'?
7. Almost all texts from NYSC starts with 'Dear ....' except the callup number text.
8. They never end messages with 'NYSC management'

Just my observation. I could be wrong.

Please, have you thought of things this way?!..that maybe that mtn number received the text directly from nysc and (maybe out of fear or something or maybe just wanted to inform his/her friend or show a proof to his/her friend) sent it to the recipient, since everyone has not received it yet
