This report is just one yet i see a lot of different interpretations being given to it, if the report states that this lady died from head injuries and respiratory seizure, the question then becomes who gave her this head injuries and what caused the respiratory seizure. Its an established fact that lekan beat his wife before she was found dead the next day, this could have caused her head injuries, the only thing that needs to be investigated now is what lead to the respiratory seizure. |

dexpotter: Wow, did you just praise God for this man? Respiratory Seizure means she stopped breathing due to lack of air. Like in Strangulation or Suffocation or Severe Head Trauma. He said he thought she was faking it when he saw her after the beating, not knowing she had lost conciousness and died. He's getting Murder or Manslaughter due to Battery charges at him most likely. I guess what you worship does not agree with "Thou shall not kill'. Tearoses, he most likely choked her and thought she was faking it but she had passed out and didn't wake up again. But even if there was video of him doing that, once he claimed she was cheating, Nigerian men would allow him go scot-free. Even with no evidence of her cheating, her dead body and evidence of his beating and abuse and cheating on her, he is still innocent in their eyes and the dead lady is a bad wife. People keep asking silly questions: How did she get water in her head, how did the injury that led to fluid build up happen. . . The Law system is based on substantial evidence and if non is provided, then we might as well go in circles infinitely. Examples; She jerked her card to avoid hitting someone and bumped her head on her steering wheel She probably had pulmonary edema and fluid build up led to cardiac arrest and eventually got to her head too. She might as well have bumped he head on the bed post or had a head collision with "one" of her partners while having sex. She could have sustained injury while having a fight with her husband (Maybe he hit her, maybe she fell while charging at him. . .. ) The freaking list is endless. Abeg they should free the poor man, he has been through a lot already, emotionally and psychologically he's been tortured. |

She may have placed a call to her lover immediately after the husband left the house and the supposed lover came around to finish her off to prevent his own family from shattering due to their shameful act. People should stop criticising this poor man who is just a victim of circumstance. A situation a cheating wife put him into. Imagine the moment he just discovered the wife is a cheat. All the attention he has given the wife and children, the support, the love and now this? In the middle of the confusion, the little children start calling him daddy, daddy, daddy and he began to wonder if indeed they're truly his or he'd been busy working his ass off raising another man's kids. zexzy: The wonderful thing about the brain is that its in charge of almost if not every function in the body. Even respiration. She may have respiratory seizure even from head injury. We need to see the official report, and that should be interpreted by pathologists and not someone tellingbus she's got water in the head, as if "water just enters" the head like that. |

Onegai: LOL at baby E marrying a white man Im not sure he strangled her or it will show on her neck and there will be bruises and other signs of strangulation Im not even sure that the autopsy results have been detailed properly It said she had head trauma if she has a weave, I hope they remove it and look at her scalp very well. You know our floors are concrete and tiles. If she hit her head, she may have bled into the brain which could have affected her breathing. I'm really shocked that people especially boys still exonerate this man, it's either they are stark illiterates or just wife and girlfriend beaters themselves. Now let me explain, She did not die from the marks in her body She died due to water in her brain which is as a result of beating , hitting her head against something that took time to kill her. It's like when USA police brutalizes their victims in the street while arresting them, take them to the cell and then they die in police custody. He admitted to beating her a day before , which is the only cause of trauma she had and she died within hours. As a result, he is guilty of manslaughter and may get a less sentence than murder but with the cheating allegations again, coupled with the running away, the prosecutor may argue that he had intent and they May give him murder. Except the arm of the law is turned upside down. |

Women, una better open eyes and marry sane men. You see these foolish men, even here on Nairaland... even the educated ones will tell themselves that the water suddenly appeared inside her head. The report says there were injuries to her head but these foolish men will assume that the injuries were inflicted on the woman by herself and somehow she killed her self. Or that water in the head is now a natural cause of death. Some foolish men are even saying the man should be released. because he didn't kill her. Then who did?
