the phone is really nice.the both camera with flash are good .B3 too is good and am really enjoying the browing. i bought it from samsung office and was given 16GB flash drive dat has the phone port and system port with 2 year warranty.

My point was that Nokia had a major share in the mobile phone business but didn't make their transition quick enough unlike Samsung....

When Nokia had the huge chunk of business in the mobile phone world( majority in Africa, south and central America and Scandinavia countries).. They did not capitalize on that and transistion to smart phone business, they waited too long and when they did it, they used their operating system instead of Android but the train have already left the station....
I wish them the best though...

N series and E series of Nokia are smartphones.

As at the time no other Phone except IPhone can match Nokia quality and market.

Nokia greatest mistake was not jumping on Android earlier, they never knew the Americans where subtly dominating the mobile phone market with Google Android.

It's never too late Op, b'cos I know for sure that NOKIA/MICROSOFT will always make us proud anyday, anytime...

Nokia today has announced that they will be back again on mobile business again which will be licensed under a new name HMD Global Oy.

According to Nokia Press Release, HMD Global Oy is base in Finland, The new company has agreed to acquire all nokia rights from Microsoft. Though Nokia Technologies will not have direct investments with HMD but nokia will be on a seat of Board of Directors, And Arto Nummela, ex-Nokia executive and current head of Microsoft Mobile Devices will be CEO of the new company.

HMD will be led by Arto Nummela, a Nokia veteran who moved to Microsoft when the latter company took over the former's mobile business, Arto Nummela - until now is the head of Microsoft's Mobile Devices business for Greater Asia, Middle East and Africa. The president/Chairman will also be the Ex Nokia and current Microsoft executive, Nokia will get royalties covering its name and its IP. HMD is Nokia. don't get it twisted.

HMD global also has acquired "certain related design rights" from the Windows maker; it's too soon to say whether that means the distinctive polycarbonate and metal design we'd grown familiar with from Lumia will be returning, but that's likely to be the hope among Nokia fans

Nokia Featurephone will be making a come back with a new range of Android Smartphones and Tablets.

Nokia second coming with the mind of manufacturing Android devices might be too late and a total failure despite the fact that the company will have to rival other giant company, the like of HTC, Samsung, Apple, Huawei and the Chinese phone makers Xioami and others.

Apple isn't an android phone BUT they still maintain a good market share that keep out doing previous financial projection.

Nokia is a brand already and so, they shouldn't let it die. They know how to make sleek designs and if they can cap it with durable battery, powerful processor and outstanding memory capacity at a cheaper price, I see know reason why they can't break in.

Africa still remains their biggest market and they had better be quick about the come back before the generation that knew them disappear.

Nokia is not even on Gionee's level. They should start with iTel and Injoo. They could get lucky against those two.

Let me school you for few minutes here,

90% of smartphones runs on either Andriod or ios with Samsung and Apple topping the chart.

Apple is a big player in the smart phone world and are dominating hence making ios a preferable choice to millions of customers.

Android on the other hand is programmer friendly since it is open source and other big players LG, HTC, Samsung all run on Android leaving Nokia with a niche market to operate on with their symbian and they can't remain competitive with that... Lesson here is, give the customers what they want and they would remain loyal to your business..

Use that google to check how many shipments of Symbian was made before even 2011, when they still had the largest smartphones marketshare globally.

'Smartphone' was almost synonymous with Nokia/symbian before 2009.
And please smartphones didn't just take off.

The difference between feature phones and smartphones were as clear as daylight.

Symbian phones are almost as capable as your Android phones of 2016, the only major difference is speed.
Symbian even had a better multitasking platform than android.
VPN, Push mails, HD games, Document editor, you name it, Symbian had it all.

Blackberry, Windows mobile, Palm OS, Web OS etc.
