It's kinda really hard making good money with Network marketing... have a friend been trying to get me into one called Trevo or something, it's like a can of drink sold at an expensive amount.. my brother inlaw has his room filled with toilet soaps from Gnld that he desperately tries to sell everyday to his Co workers and everybody else. |

All this ponts to the fact there is no free or easy lunch. Be wary of any business that is not popular but promises returns of more than 15% per annum. |

/ You can never get rich from MLM. Most of those companies are foreign MLMs marketed as subsidiaries in Nigeria. You may think you are in Level 4 in the pyramid not knowing that you are in sublevel 30 by the time the distribution gets to the parent company. Don't be fooled by the appendages: Director, MD, Associates. You are being hustled. Sooner than later you will hit leads brickwall and be burned out. They are counting on the turnover from gullible fellows. \ |

blazingcash:You may be quoting Bill Gates out of context. he built a veritable brand which has taken a life of its own. And network marketing in his context is vastly different from multi level marketing. Why don't you build a veritable brand and work on giving it a life of its own instead of selling tea and pills from Asia and making people pay exorbitant amounts with incentives that sound too good to be true. We want earn much with little or no work done. That's why we are fleeced by all sorts. |

Saw an ad poster saying make 100,000 naira a day, then i jumped on it Called the number on the ad and they said i should come for the interview (to see which position i fit in) It was in another state, so i travelled there well dressed and prepared for the interview When i got there i was shocked to the bones when they asked me to pay 180,000 to register (like i would even show up if i could cough out that kind of money on the spot) And also get 5people to register under me (who do i know that can afford that amount money?) And those five people must get 5people each to register under them (jesu christi) before i even get to level one And the cycle continues. I had used my last cash to go there The dude kept telling me about mark zuckerberg and how he makes money off our time while I just sat there thinking of all the possible ways to end my life. Network Marketing, Never again. |

One question I always ask them anytime they come around to disturb my peace. 'Will I still make profit if I decide to use my own money to finance the deal instead of looking for more people to convince? ' non of them has been able to give me a plausible answer. next time they come around. .ask them the same question. |

Isn't it funny that people still doubt they can make it through network marketing, even though there are proofs all around them, It's true that some mlm companies make people slave for them, but there are some that make network marketing easier like the one I'm in. Check my signature or call for more explanation on how it works. |

getaway club chop my 36k in 2008 and the painful thing is that I lured my friend who also parted with 36k to it.... you see, the problem with the vulnerable in the country is the govt has failed to protect them from some kind of imformations they consume and act upon, even on radios you see self aclaimed herbal healer advertising , information marketers that are not tested market on radio too and flees people of their hard earned money. it is bad and I think govt should regulate information's and advert that find its way into our radio stations |

blazingcash:Lol. Bill didn't specifically specify if he would be controlling the MLM (i.e starting the company), or he will be at the other end of the chain (i.e joining the network someone else created). Well the fact is that in most of the MLM seminars, they also do downgrade their competing MLM schemes and also say good shits more than the ones you have stated above. As in ehn those guys get one kind sweet mouth. I am not really saying MLM is bad though, but it will be better if people are allowed to know and understand what they are in for. Not when they first lie to you about some mouth watering job, and then you get there they start preaching to you that working for someone is as lame as shit, and that doctors and lawyers make peanuts when they work for others (meanwhild I don't understand if the MLM scheme translates to you working for your self, since you still have to deliver your earnings to someone). Make I stop here hand don dey pain me. |

Charlesberry:You might think you are making sense with what you are saying but the truth is this: The people are the top are those who really understand multi-level marketing and what they do is to bring in brainwashed illiterate who will pour in their hard earn money into a business that they were promised would fetch them billion in few month. If multi-level marketing would educated and train people about multi-level marketing then it would then be a sure way to escape poverty. And not by brainwashing them. Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, non but ourself can free our mind. |
| Re: My Terrible Experience With Multilevel Marketing In Nigeria by SPDAZZY(f): 10:25am On May 20, 2016 |
People fail in mlm cos they feel it is a get rich quick scheme and some do pyramids. To succeed you have to know the company you deal with and treat it as your own business. Some mlm styles do not require selling of products, it only needs your social network and does not use the pyramid scheme. I will not call names Sha. Nigerians fail in mlm but instead of changing strategy, they keep doing same things and keep failing. They do not even read and understand their company's policy. To succeed, quit the marketing, just use your network. Ps: Even though I love mlm, I just detest the way those gnld guys go about it, just deceitful. |

evolg: I had this exact experience with those GNLD people too o....just exactly the way you explained yours except mine happened at Ibadan! I had to travel all the way from osogbo as early as 6am to be on time for the scheduled interview only to find out it was them after five hours of painstakingly boring health talks and lectures! |

stanliwise:Some mlm schemes do frequent trainings for their workers and do not even use pyramid schemes. |
