i just spoke with Mr sanusi and he has asked dat we disregard the 20th june date and dat dia would be a public announcement as regard d new schedule. Meanwhile mrs ukonu has refused to pick ha calls...Almighty God wouldnt forgive Nysc for dia insensitivity and disregard towards our plight.

He explained that money was yet to be released to pay contractors for our kits,camping and our stipends. He also stressed that as soon as funds is sourced for these,that we would proceed camping next month. U guys should keep calling.

How do we now get Oga Buhari to release funds??

And yet NYSC were quick to release an official statement on their Facebook page thanking the FG for the funds released.
Who is fooling who now

This is a precarious situation. Never has it been heard of that the FG are unable to mobilize PCM until now. Everybody is calling DG's number, Senator Ogba's number, hmmmm Abeg NOBODY GET BUHARI NUMBER? The problem is not with NYSC, I am not holding brief for them but, with the information we have at our disposal, THE MINISTERS FINANCE, BUDGET & PLANING AND THE PRESIDENCY are the culprits in this case. Imagine, a country where ministers cannot oblige an official summon by the senate house committee on youth & sport.
Honestly, those in stream 1 were if I must say lucky because their journey to camp was on the fading wheels of GEJ's 2015 budget. THIS IS NOT TO SAY THE REST OF US ARE UNFORTUNATE, PLS DONT GET IT WRONG. This is so because, 2016 budget did not capture provision for NYSC, the figure being around 13billion naira. We are told, IT WAS SCRAPPED. That means, FG had no plan whatsoever to host any of the NYSC batches this year. The 13billion naira NYSC fund that was scrapped is not just for batch A'16, but all NYSC batches for 2016.
Well, if they can scrap the funds for NYSC, it should also be very easy & convenient for them to scrap the scheme & allow us print NYSC discharge or Exemption certificates, stating boldly & clearly that it is due to the INABILITY OF THE FG TO FUND THE SCHEME FOR 2016.
The level of confusion NYSC is exhibiting now is a true reflection that our struggles & pressure is having an effect. Let us not relent, let us keep pushing, one day Nigeria will be great again!

Why must the body suddenly suffers this disgraceful disease now? I need to threaten him that the wrath of the educated youths is fiercer than that of Boko haram and NDA put together. So somebody pls get us his numbers.

I knew the situation is serious when I read about NYSC not in budget. Even if they'll include it in the supplementary budget, who knows when that'll be done? Afterall "this gov't slow pass snail". At this point, I'll welcome an exemption letter stating the reason.
