A Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Friday sentenced a former Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration Safety Agency (NIMASA), Mr Raymond Omatseye, to five years in prison for a N1.5bn contract scam. Omatseye appeared before the court after being arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for engaging in contract splitting and bid rigging estimated at over N1.5bn while he was the DG of NIMASA. . 1 Share
