She is not thirteen. She is seventeen. She just has a small stature. If you see her stand it her mum, you will see that Amina is almost the same height and stature as her mum.

Will you say the mother is fourteen?

Many girls are small in stature like that. In their mid twenties, they still look like teenagers.

OK fine , we agree she's 17 ,they were abducted 2014 if am not mistaken, that makes her 15 , Hausa girl writing WAEC at 15, me that is Igbo wrote at 15 and that's cos I wrote first sch from PRI 3, am not saying anything ooo but men we are being used as fools, any story they give us they expect us to take. The Real Issue here is that PMB is Innocent....Innocent!

He doesn't know of 99% of the things some criminals did to bring him to power

Their plan is to "Puppet him" ....and then "DUMP HIM". - Just like in 1983/85 ....

Nothing has changed....

Wake me up when the conspiracy dawns on your brain

While I believe that Chibok girls were kidnapped, in addition to hundreds more that the media never really focused on as the sensation that met the Chibok abduction, I have reasons to believe the girl being paraded might just be a scam to justify all the foreign aid that have been poured in for their rescue. Or a political tool to increase favorability ratings in this trying times. I hope it is real, but there are pores in this narrative to make one have some degree of doubt. Here are two reasons why I think we should all ask real and factual questions.

1. According to the official report, Amina and her colleagues were in school to sit for physics WAEC exams. She was an SS III student. The Amina that was "rescued" can cannot speak in English. She is being translated even when English is spoken to her. Do we have a Hausa version of physics? Was she really a student? Or is she simply a fake?

2. Two years ago, someone whol looks exactly like Amina was paraded by the military with a bomb strapped around her, as one of the child suicide bomber Boko Haram had sent to cause havoc. Is this just a coincidence or is that girl really Amina 2 years younger that the Amina that resurfaced two years later as a rescued girl. Kindly examine the picture and make your conclusions. What are the odds in a country of 180 million people that two girls connected with Boko Haram would look exactly alike? (Refer to the pictures)

3. Think about it, in a rescue operation of about 200 girls, is it possible that just one can be rescued at a time? I understand they maybe in splinter groups, but the army rescuing just one is very very doubtful. Amina Ali was kidnapped no doubt, but was she even a student? Was she just rescued now. Why does she look exactly like the girl kidnapped by Boko Haram that was strapped with a bomb?

There have been so many scams with Boko Haram. From a few individuals stealing 2.1billion $ to Generals carting away millions of USD in private jets, to Mama Peace becoming a Nollywood sensation on her "there is God o" mantra. I just hope that this is not another scam.

Argument on physics and WAEC basis make sense............... but the pics of the suicide bomber and rescued girl are not same same and you can not judge Hausa people based on English speaking. All Buhari press conference in the north are made in Hausa language.

BUT WATIN IGBOS DEY FIND FOR THIS MATTER? THEY KEEP DIGGING SHAMEFUL EXCUSES EVERYDAY.

I dont think Buhari will associate himself with the girl if not true. Besides the military that rescued her are the same military that protected Jonathan regime. Buhari hasn't recruit any soldier yet.

I hope you igbos will be happy if Hausa say the Enugu herdsmen attack are fake photos or fake story?

It is a fact. The teachers help them when they write their exams. Explain to them and even write their answers. There is a reason why it is called "Educationally challenged."

Some people have a lot of learning to do about their country. Nigeria is not just your backyard.

The Hausas in the educationally challenged regions have been coping and they will continue to cope. They have their means to test the understanding of the principles being thought.

Just as a Chinese man who can not speak English can understand physics principles or a German who can not speak or write in English can understand Chemical laws and theories.

So is your problem the educational challenges some Northern communities face or is your problem the fact that a girl kidnapped, tortured and raped is found?

Thank God Amina Ali is alive and found.

#WelcomeBackAmina

These people don't understand that this girl may not have spoken English for 2 years. Together with all the trauma, it is by the grace of God she can still reason like a same human.

When Obasanjo returned from prison, his English fluency left him. He was always waiting for seconds before his brain could pick the next appropriate word to use. Then he waits again and keep repeating hem, hem, clear throat, then cough, then think of what to say next. It took him more than 3 years of more to gain some speaking fluency.

I know that many in the North cannot speak English, but this SS3 girl should be able to at least understand when she is asked questions. She neither understands nor even speaks a speck of English. When English is spoken to her it has to be translated. What sort of WAEC exam was she writing without a clue of English? Why did we have an Amina look alike arrested two years ago with bombs? I support PMB, but when I see holes it must be pointed out. There is something just not right!

-CramJones
I was just laughing when I read your thread. Simple question: Have you been to the North, I mean Core North(Not their state capitals), I mean remote areas. I bet you haven't!
If you have, the issue of Amina been able to speak simple coherent english won't even arise!

I concur with that fella that said you need get your eyes checked!

Here is a link that contains the news item about the arrest of a 13 year old girl in kano. The news was dated 12 Dec 2014
https://www.360nobs. com/2014/12/photos-of-boko-haram-13-year-old-female-suicide-bomber/
You will find the below close up pic of the girl wearin a hijab like Amina. There's a reason why this pic is not peddled by those noisemakers around here....it exposes their fooolishness!

sweetheart, I served in Kwara state. I was shocked to know SSCE students cannot speak or write English. I had to interpret my class to Yoruba. My fellow corpers from other tribe were all frustrated as they couldn't communicate. How much more a remote place like Chibok. Whether it was a scam or not. I cannot say.

Kai My guy, you failed me big time with this post. Simple reasoning will answer your questions.

There are northern sections that are educationally challenged and they do not operate educationally the way other sections do.

NYSC former members have verified that there are a lot of SS3 students in the North who can not speak English.

I am yet to see a concrete report that says Amina can not speak English at all. She is more comfortable in her native tongue.

If the army shows a hundred Aminas dead, does it prove that this girl is not Amina?

She was identified by members of her community who knew her. She talked in the market Square. The Vice Principal of the school described her as a quiet and humble girl.

Her mum is with her. Yet you are spreading what I do not understand.

This is one of your weakest posts.

Cramjones, I can recommend a good eye doctor in Port-Harcourt that can attend to you. The girl strapped with bomb, looks nothing like the Amina Ali kidnapped by the Boko Haram monsters.

Look at the pic below and tell me there is a close resemblance of Amina Ali to the strapped girl pic you posted.

I am an Eye doctor and I can categorically tell you that the found Amina Ali does not in all sincerity look like the Amina Ali in the picture you posted, is like you ve not been following the story.

It is not unheard of that some WAEC candidates in government schools cannot speak English.

If you ever served (NYSC) in rural areas you would have seen this. These teachers continue to promote students just so that they can write WAEC and leave the school.

There are many schools that teach subjects in native languages. I saw this in a state capital in the SE which is not even a rural area. So it is not a new thing however shameful it is.

One said he had to even learn the language to cheat. Unless you are telling me you have never seen in a school when a child has a challenge and the teacher helps him or her.

It's true that sometimes silence is golden. But I'm glad that you (Cramjones) voiced out to enable us actually rate you appropriately; for many of us had thought you were smarter than this.

FYI, none of your points would stand the most basic of practical logic.

1. The two girls in the photographs presented by you are different individuals - shocked that a human being would see them as the same...not even a White Slave Driver would see the two girls as the same!

2. That she could not speak English doesn't not disqualify her from being a WAEC candidate in a contemporary Nigerian government school. At the same time it doesn't stop her from being a classmate to some of the same Chibok girls now schooling here in the US ( refer to YouTube, SR & the BBC for a video of one of them addressing US congress women pls)

Now, this goes to all and sundry, the young woman's inability to communicate in English is nothing but a reflection of the decaded level of our educational system. And this is not just unique to a particular region or people or state. ALL OVER the federation students/ WAEC candidates like her can be found in any government institution - secondary or even tertiary.

Today, many would agree with me that ppl like Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, the now Emir of Kano is one of the most articulate personalities in English language in the nation, but would it be possible to have some of his secondary school class mates who might be as poor in English language as the poor damsel Amina?

Absolutely, YES!

And for all you doubting Thomases still out there, simply go and watch the videos of the escapee Chibok girls now schooling the the States, compare their latest video with their initial video and you would appreciate how POOR your level of reasoning is...

...I rest my case!
