This is one of the reasons why the Nigerian Army won't be able to defeat the Niger Delta militants. The Soldiers simply cannot swim. Puncture a boat in deep waters and the Nigerian Soldiers will most likely all drown. Most of the militants have been swimming since they were kids and can probably ecan rescue their drowning comrades

In ur own understanding u believe a soldier would not be able to swim ordinarily, with their rigorous traning ? Treat this write-up with a pinch of salt.

Where is our air, land and see concept? Let's go back to the statoscope. Air force for air attack, Army for land and Navy for sea combat. Each trained and expert in their various field of engagement. Its quite un-strategic to deploy Army for a mission meant for Navy.. My humble opinion please.
