KillerFrost:They need to fight for increment not subsidy, things are very expensive at the moment, you may decide to park your car at home but man must eat there is no other way round, even if they reduce the price of fuel,18.000 minimum wage can not sustain bachelors at the moment let alone a family mind you they will not have the gut or courage to strike again for increment anytime soon if government reduce the price of fuel |

Rashe:Anytime a new set of politicians take over government and want to rêcover their electioneering campaign spendings and refund back to their sponsors, they will increase fuel price. |

Useless strike, doomed exercise, nonsense action by the Labour Congress Union. Maybe they were expecting cash....things are changing in Nigeria. Amazing action by Nigerians |

NLC should maintain the tempo, there is a silent majority with them. |
Subsidy was not removed, otherwise they wouldn't have regulated it to 145, marketers will be the ones to fix there prices. What i see here is, the government is still subsidizing the product but just a litle is being paid. They did not remove any subsidy. Its just the increasing dollar rate thats causing it, the marketers r not buying via forex, they use the black market rate which is forcing the government to pay more for subsidy. If they completely deregulate this sector, the marketers will be the ones fixing the pump price of pms n with the fall of crude price internationally, the pms price should be lower than N100 per litre n competition between the marketers would further lower the price. |

This is good news at least return to negotiation table...not the kinda news/blog ppsted by a lady some days back and was transported to front page with immediate effect... She wrote that she had a terrible experience with multi level marketing which is an entrepreneurship...and so she would stone anybody that comes near her family house to death... First of all, she had misconceptions ....she was told she will get rich quick....it doesn't work that way...you have to work...the earnings potential is huge but you get it through drive, passion , persistence and patience... Secondly, there are cheats out there....consider this 4 factors b4 u join a MLM company.... 1. The company...it has to be reputable, not one that will collapse tomorrow 2. The product....it has to be marketable, preferably daily use products and good quality..3. The group support system...MLM is a group effort...your uplines must be responsive and supportive..that's how you can replicate their success..more so, the success of a upline depends on the growth of his down lines...also a upline will train his downlines on how to market...4. The compensation plan....it has to be generous..in order to guarantee financial freedom, you don't want to enslave youself... Let me leave you with this saying....the richest people in the world look for and build networks...other people look for work.... the question is which category do you want to belong to.... ![]() Let me help you achieve your dreams in life...contact me... |

udy4real:d reason is DAT some marketers may decide 2 sell #200 above. that is Y petroleum regulating bodies said d price shd not be more than #145 after calculating d total expenditure... NNPC is selling #143 here as at couple of days back |

What is NLC still meeting for? The masses are against d strike. Make dem no worry we never bone their side but we just support Buhari on this subsidy matter especially since we now buy at 145 per litre unlike 200 or more at black market due to scarcity. At least fuel is available now. |
| Re: NLC In Crucial Meeting Today by Topiipii(m): 1:38pm On May 22, 2016 |
9jacrip:Going by what he/she/'it' wrote up there, the right translation is 'groan' not 'sigh'; I suppose he/she/'it' used the first word that came to mind. |
| Re: NLC In Crucial Meeting Today by Nobody: 2:07pm On May 22, 2016 |
Topiipii:Exactly or she couldn't quickly come up with the word for 'gbin' which could be 'groan' or 'push' based on the context in which it is being used. Looooool. The thought of a woman sighing during sex is very funny. I keep imagining it happening to me ![]() |

otokx:which tempo? when there is no strike in Lagos HQ of all corporate organizations, the economic hub of the nation. sea ports and air ports are working, even civil servants go to work in Lagos. let NLC put it house in order first, because a house divided against itself can't stand. |
| Re: NLC In Crucial Meeting Today by otokx(m): 2:29pm On May 22, 2016 |
owanedo:NLC deals mainly with civil servants, once salaries are paid they will comply 100%. In my opinion they were too in a haste to go on strike, they would have given notice to govt and also created a research team to act as an advisory arm. |

ajebuter:Never realized you were truly female, you know a lot a guys on NL intentionally use the 'f' in front of their monikers; the 'it' was just me being mischievous. Hope you're not too offended though? |
| Re: NLC In Crucial Meeting Today by KissCODE(m): 4:04pm On May 22, 2016 |
BeeBeeOoh:i thought so initially but at the second i now saw reasons in NLCs stand. If states cant pay this present minimum wage, how will they now it when it is increased? This is the real issue |
| Re: NLC In Crucial Meeting Today by ajebuter(f): 4:19pm On May 22, 2016 |
Topiipii:Not at all, I can relate with the subtle humor there. Peace |

NLC STOP FOOLING NIGERIAN. It is ever disheartening that we as Nigerian always didn’t face reality on ground, for instance this subsidy removal since when as it started? Another vital question was who is this NLC fighting for? Masses or workers? My candid opinion was that NLC should please call off the strike. For NLC as lost its value considering this strike they are now demanding for respect rather than commanding respect they now resorted to chasing worker who chooses wise decision to ignore them from their offices. What a shame! When last did this NLC won any battle for masses or employees? How many state of Federation is truly paying 18,000 minimum wages for his workers? Where is this NLC when we are buying fuel as much as 300 per liter this year? Please stop drawing us back, for any change in the price again means we shall be buying again more than any amount fixed by the government and even sleeping in the petrol station. Masses are tied of you. You are only working for your own pocket. Go back to negotiation table if truly you love the masses and the employees as you are claiming. Let the Government be committed to what she can do to alleviate this hardship. Stop insulting our collective reasoning. Let me sound a warning if anybody should go to work and there is intimidation from any so called NLC we should result into violence. Please be guided |
