Minimum wage in Nigeria N18,000, cost of one bag of Rice N18,500, its Ridiculous. How then can masses buy tomatoes, oil, fish/meat or even crayfish, gas or kerosine and all other things needed to put the rice on the table? Please I need answers to these questions nairalanders!

The government of APC is a failure. I heard one of bohari spokesmen saying Nigerians are not suffering.(how ridiculous) .For the fact that you are finishing a bag of rice does not mean that other people have 1 cup of rice to eat

bet still, don't u think its sad that one can barely afford a bag of rice after working legitimately for one whole month

This is a simple mathematics that shows that Nigeria are suffering. Who didn't add house rent,clothing,feeding etc

Why do you have to buy a BAG of rice? That's a huge quantity and is unnecessary. Using one month's salary to buy six months' food. No wonder you're having problems.

The way Nigerians reason self
In Libya now a bag of rice cost only 25 dinars und a carton of oil is 15 dinars
The min salary here is 700 dinars
House rent depends on how you want it
50 - 150 dinars
3 people can take up full 4 bedroom flat

I see no reasons why some niggas above are bashing the Op for is observations. Even if an individual can't consume a big of rice for a day does that stop him or her buying it? This ia a perfect layman way of explaining the hash economic situation on ground. Where ur entire one month earning/salary can barely buy a bag of rice.........this is pathetic. I just pity civil servants, especially those in southwest who depend only on their salary.

tell me honestly what work a 18 k worker does. do they even come to office. mine you it's only Civil servants it applies to o. they only show up at end of month to collect awoof money o. I have worked in national Assembly o so don't lie. I was there. anybody receiving minimum wage doesn't even deserve it.coming to office and gossiping is not legitimate work
