TonyeBarcanista:i know its ain't PDP, bt same internal power tussle has being hovering in APC since its emergence as a ruling party. Like wise PDP. That power tussle was what cause the PDP failure at the 2015 presidential poll. |

TonyeBarcanista:Yes, they only need to get rid of strange elements like Sheriff and mend their broken walls. For me, I think the Makarfi-led committee should reconcile and work with the Mantul/Gana-led committee to get the party back on track in the shortest time possible, because Nigeria needs a strong and United opposition party at the moment, and also needs to change the change in 2019. |

PDP- "the largest political party in Africa" is indeed so "large" that it needs 3 Chairmen to lead it. Congratulations PDP for this unique political innovation. |

It's so amazing how people can sit in their chairs at home and begin to posit permutations about Nigerian politicians and what they will or will not do. Tonyebarcanista and bejeiodus are culprits in this. Did you ever calculated Fayose would be exposed as a dissenter in this issue? You were all hailing him then. Even at the current events doesn't leave much to hope for. You guys are only getting hopeful for nothing. The only thing you can predict about a politician is where his greed would lead him |

PDP should put there house in order so that they can serve as an alternative to APC if the need arise. |
| Re: How I Was Betrayed At Pdp’s National Convention In Port Harcourt —sheriff by OlujobaSamuel: 3:28pm On May 22, 2016 |
pdp is divided into the following groups 1. elected(former & current) officials(president, governor, senator, rep, etc). 2. appointed officials (ministers, commissioner etc) 3. those that have tasted power or wealth through the party but want authority. they can't just get along. Apc performance might be rated 6/10 at the end of this tenure, but it's very sure that they will win in 2019, pdp is not close to them, some corrupt act will pop up here and there in this administration, but there will be Will in administration and manifestations of the Will in the society. Apc will never allow a powerbroker to intimidate the party, it's either you relinquish what you are aiming for and get settled or you achieve your aim and remain unsettled. family matter methodology is what is now coming back to hunt pdp. |

TonyeBarcanista:Even when they had different conventions? The party will devide further with the way things are going. Some of them at the Portharcourt convention will turn around and support sheriff later. Btw, where are our brothers from the east. Where bath thou gone to with thine voice in this time of decision making. I noticed that the igbo power brokers are playing safe. This is dangerous for them if u ask me. You must take a position which u must be identified with so that on the day of reckoning you will have a voice and not a grudge. |

PDP is so long dead, they are even copying the APC slogan either as a sign of covert love for the APC or overt hatred for change. It's the funniest blunder ever to start shouting change twice! An APC slogan twice at a PDP rally. It is absurdly hilarious. The APC already has a slogan for 2019 since 2015.It is COMMON SENSE. Nigerians will have to choose between a PDP that is fixated on an old APC slogan and an APC reinventing itself to deliver what Nigerians need to use while voting in 2019: COMMON SENSE. Common sense wins in 2019. And there's nothing anyone can do about it. It's just the way the universe is structured for now. |

What I think is. Sheriff is greedy. You want to die in power. U can't force urself on the people when dey certainly don't want u. He would have resign since but now disgraced. He was the chairman with a view that he will leave in May and after tasting the sweetness of power he wanted to remain and perpetrate himself in office. According to what I hear, even gov Fayose and Wike who were staunch supporters dumped him when they see that they are the only few persons with him and the 2 of dem can't influence the other plenty big wigs to support sheriff they have to follow the majority. Even I heard that sheriff did not campaign for the post, he didn't buy the form in the first instance, Fayose only wanted to have his way, he brought Sheriff who did not even participated in the struggle all along to be the chairman of such big party and you expect people to be happy? Definitely they won't. What about the efforts of people that bought the form? What image does the party that says it wants to re-brand portraying in that manner? It simply saying they don't value democracy, people can be hand picked. Silly Fayose, PDP is not Ekiti State ok. |
