No reasonable govt will negotiate with terrorists that destroyed, killed, raped and kidnapped its citizens . Chibok girls are not the only kidnapped innocent girls in Nigerian, not to talk of properties they have destroyed . Any body or groups that will give these blood sucking animals amnesty , the spirit and ghost of those killed by boko haram will forever torture, torment, fight and disturb them without mercy . If you are concerned for the voiceless (innocent victims killed by boko and political ambitions) click likes please.
omo me don tire for this country,,,Gosh, armnesty to terrorist, very funny to hear.

And you think if they all have basic education just like any other region they won't surpass them?

What makes you think they will surpass them? They will do just fine as others will do.

I'm an engineering student in one of the northern state of Nigeria. Hausa guys are not too dull but ain't brilliant. They lack basic education. Their primary and secondary education is a joke. The brilliant once the children of the rich. They can afford a good school for their wards. Government school her is a joke.

you claimed you are an engineering student in the north , while you can even differentiate HAUSA from NORTH .
Hausa is a tribe(katsina, kano, jigawa, kebbi, sokoto ONLY ) and also a language , 70% of states in the north speaks Hausa as a language but ain't really Hausa by tribe.
*North east ain't Hausa people , they have diversity of languages but understands and speak Hausa as a language .
YES they are a lot of brilliant people and dumb-heads in NORTH , and the same goes to our beloved SOUTH.
PLEASE STOP BEING TOO NEGATIVE WITH YOUR JUDGEMENT.

I have been to almost all the northern state. I speak hausa fluently. I know not all the northern state are hausa. But get the fact straight, the level of primary and secondary education in the north is far less than average. That is the bed rock of education. If you don't get it right from primary school and secondary school, tertiary institution will be like a joke.

Well you might be right in your own world but I'm in an aviation school, majority of the student here are children of the rich. Hausa don't even think of top 10 in my class.

let's get this straight ......
* A typical Hausa man ain't even interested in education, they are commercial people who believed in what they called ( Sana'a).
* it takes an extra effort by the FG and the NGO's to convince them to send their children to Basic & tertiary institutions most especially the female ones ( that was THEN) .
* the federal or state primary and secondary education in north is of no difference from that of south, but the southern private schools are more expensive and superior than those in north.
your statement is Right when it comes to Hausa communities but it doesn't apply to states like Benue , Taraba, Abuja , kogi e.t.c

uscofield:

Islamic extremist militants Boko Haram, who have killed at least 2,600 people in Nigeria, reportedly want to broker a deal with the government to release the remaining kidnapped Chibok schoolgirls in return for escaping execution. Two hundred schoolgirls were seized from a school in Chibok two years ago and have never been traced or found. It is believed only a third of them remain alive.
According to a report in The Times, senior members of the terrorist group told Nigerian newspaper Leadership Friday that it was prepared to negotiate a surrender and release the hostages on the condition they would not be not betrayed by the government or killed for giving up arms.
"We want to surrender because things are getting worse," said Amir Muhammad Abdullahi, who is reportedly Boko Haram's second in command. He said no side was winning the battle and that only a third of the girls remained as "the rest have been martyred".
It comes as two Chibok girls have reportedly been released – one of whom called Amina Ali Darsha Nkeki who was found near Sambisa forest and believed to have been freed as a 'gesture of good faith' by the militants.
However, there was confusion mounting over whether the second girl, (who has not been named), was freed in a raid on a Boko Haram camp on 19 May, was from Chibok. Yakubu Nkeke told The Times: "I can say in my capacity as the head of the Chibok Abducted Girls Parents group that this girl is not among the abducted girls."

Who are Nigeria's Boko Haram terrorists?
Boko Haram (recently renamed Iswap) fights against Western influence in Nigeria and aims to impose its version of Sharia law on the country. The group declared an Islamic caliphate in Gwoza, along the Cameroon border, in August 2014.
Boko Haram has raided several cities in the north of the country in a bid to take control of more land.
Three states − Adamawa, Borno and Yobe − have been under a state of emergency since May 2013, due to Boko Haram's attacks.
The group has killed at least 2,600 people since the beginning of 2015. More than 180 have been killed since the beginning of June.

So BH knows about betrayal

The government should just pretend to agree with them for amnesty and then when he gets what he wants he betrays them painfully as they betrayed their mother country.

Kill then mercilessly at random and it will be a mark for a lesson to the other mino militants like Avengers and co.

Consult Uganda's President Yaweri Museveni on how he did exactly that to their own deadly militant group (The Lords Resistant Army) and since then they are almost perished and not capable of harming any citizen.

A criminal will always look for another opportunity to exhibit his talent so never tolerate them, can they pay for the innocent souls they destroyed

They kill for fan of it so they should be killed for the same reason.
