Nigeria is too big a game, ones needs to play with big balls! I'm not a big fan of Fayose, but he's actually right on this, when people from other parts of the country move to the north, they don't roam lands and vegetation they seldom know who owns to make a living, they rent houses, lease or buy spaces for business like normal human beings. Fulani people must be forced to do same, only then can their killings be contained.

Although I've always been against the policies and theatrics of Fayose, I'm in support of this bill. The land is under the control of the state. There is need to check the arrogance and lackadaisical attitude of the president.

Other affected states should follow suit.

Thanks Fayose for doing the needful, before it was just complains of cows eating farm crops, now they are killing farmers and host communities. It's just that other states are afraid of the reaction from federal. Thanks for setting the best. Your private business can't endanger others, nobody eats cow for free in Nigeria, and cow is very costly With the little overhead cost they incur (paying the herdsmen). They should acquire private ranches for their cows. I know other states will follow soon.

ranches are grazing grounds dat are restricted,cattle can't go. Past dia limits 2 probly graze ppls farms n gardens

The best news I have read on NL so far this year, how can a bunch of illiterate cattle herders hold us to ransom in this time and age, when there are millions of AK 47 floating around in the black market. This is getting embarrasing, I want to open NL tomorrow and see any bloody Fulani that flout this order from the governor of my mother's state head brought on a platter to the government house. Enough is enough.

Fayose, you got it right. You have said the truth.Anywhere in the world, those who rear cattle own their own farmland because it is a business they own and make money from it.

Fulani herdsmen should not take Nigerians for granted and think it is their right to go about with their cattle and be destroying peoples farms and also killing them. Whether they come from Chad or Niger, they should go get their own farmland and rear their cattle.

It is high time the government no matter who is in charge, call the cattle herdsmen to order and inform them to acquire their own land and rear their cattle because they feed from there. Grazing on someone's farm should be a crime.
