that's huge! how much can one get that 1TB laptop?
that's
:

Well, i have a high end computer.
6th Generation Intel Core i5-6300HQ CPU (Skylake),
4GB Dedicated NVIDIA GTX 960M GPU,
1TB HDD with 8GB SSD Cache memory,
8GB DDR3L 1600MHz RAM,
3 USB 3.0 Ports,
Backlit Keyboard,
Webcam, Bluetooth and all that good stuff yh.

Mine is a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Series (7559).

You should be able to get it around 250K. But considering it's around $800 in the US. Then just budget around 300K thereabout.

If your only concern is just 1TB HDD. Then get an external around 25K i guess.
If you just need a 1TB laptop regardless of the other specs, Just north of 100K should be enough. I guess...

did the 4g work properly on your iphone? As it seems that is what you use.

I need to confirm that the 4g works on any 4g enabled phone..
It works very well on my iPad mini 2, that's what I'm using. I wanna get a 4g LTE enabled Mifi device tho, cos the LTE is killing my iPad ba3 really fast.

Okay. Location does influence speed. That is one thing one must take into consideration.

I see where you are coming from and i respect ur point of view. But it being unlimited makes the difference. It's targeted at high data users anyways, if you don't need unlimited data, it's gonna be a loss for you to pay 10K when u can get something for u with 2K. U understand?

You should under stand it now every time we do heavy downloading.

They should have Price breakdown for other data plans.

When they start business in Lagos they will understand better.

'Oga', Get bored of Unlimited Internet. LMAO! I'm guessing all u do is Facebook, BBM, Whatsapp yes? And maybe download those 100MB movies from fz.

I'm an I.T guy, there's nothing like getting tired of unlimited internet. LOOL! What does that even mean? So i rather have limited than unlimited? Where I'll be checking to know my data balance after every activity. I have ALOT of things to do with internet.

- Android SDK updates
- Android Studio updates
- XDA Developers ROM updates
- I never watch any movie below 720p. It must be at least x265 (x264 preferred but na condition). If the movie ain't 720p, I'll wait till its available. Most of my movies are 1080p.
- Windows Updates
- PC Games downloads/Online gaming
- PS4 Games downloads/updates. And system updates
- Mobile phone app updates
- TV shows updates daily
- YouTube Tech Channels streaming
- Tech launch live stream

Ideally, no limited plan less than 10K in Nigeria can actually do for all i need. If you ain't a tech guy, u might not really understand. Because even people that just love movies so much, the hardcore ones... even they will understand what unlimited net means.

On a final note, i think it's really sad that unlimited internet is a 'luxury' in this part of the world. It should be basic. But oh well!
before ntel which isp were you using?

and what about the throttling?
I heard that if you have used up to 3gb af data yoyr speed would be slowed down to 512bps.

I've been like that for years and I don't think I'll stop being like that. I have always been a heavy data user. I don't have dstv instead I have apple TV with Hulu, Netflix and other channels subscription. So I have to rely on Internet to stream videos and movies smoothly. And I've been doing that for years now. Also for a very long time I've always watched every football match online in my sitting room. And if I'm not home I easily watch live matches on my mobile phone. So for me unlimited Internet is not just for

oboy!

movies alone. It's like basically my live. grin

God bless you bruv, always nice to meet someone i helped one way or the other. Thanks for the kind words.

And yes, how can we be like MKBHD without unlimited internet. How can we develop ROMs without unlimited internet? Dats what I'm trying to say. Hopefully, things will be different soon. I'm not a full time developer now, i was recognised for my contributions to the XDA community tho. There's a tag that says 'Recognized Contributor' next to my name now. Lol.

Not into ROMs yet. However I'm working on my first Android app, and you'll be the first to know when it's ready. Cheers! smiley

Ok. Thanks. One more thing, I tried download using IDM with Airtel unlimited 1hr browsing and it refused downloading. I used Airtel's IP address and port number but yet it refused downloading via IDM only via the download option in browsers. Do you know what I do to make IDM start working with Airtel like other people's own?

Remove all I.P address settings from IDM. It should work without proxy. Cheers!

the only things that come to Nigerians mind wen they see free or unlimited internet is to download anything downloadable….
for me once I am able to watch (download) wwe weekly show that's all.
I have much data but that doesn't mean I will spend all time downloading or watching movies…
