Even when we go through surgical operations, its to enhance whats already there.
But black girls, not all tho, transform themselves completely and prefer Caucasian features all through.

Yeah, but going with the @op's logic, they should be comfortable in their untanned skin. It's like white people don't do anything to their hair, (which they do perm, straighten, add weaves) skin,( makeup, WHITENING creams, for those who are not fair enough) when they are not tanning themselves.

The op may have a good point but she is speaking with a log in her eyes. Just read her comment about soft hair. The difference between African hair and other hairs is that is softer. Hence more curled. It easily breaks that's why it's hardly long. Like everybody else, black people perm, braid, add extensions, in WhitegirlonNL's words, to enhance themselves.

There are ugly people in every race. The talk about white features and beauty standards is ignorant. It's like saying there are no white ugly people.

Bleaching skin is stupid, but saying they are trying to become white is worse. They are just looking for a fairer version of THEMSELVES. White people are not the reason. The reason is the naturally light(not white) skinned African neighbour or friend or enemy. So if people do not grow goatee to look like Gorilla, why are you implying the same for Africans?















True. I think people bleach just to lighten their skin . not to become like white people.
I never accused Africans of anything.

What i mean is .telling someone that he is tanning inorder to look black. is like telling a guy growing goatee , that he wants to look like goorilla.which is Obivious not the reason why he is growing the goatee. that's my point.
