It will bite you if you attempt to catch it in self defence just like most animals or reptiles, but will naturally run away from humans.

Farmers need to secure there cages and animal pens, if not you will be attracting reptiles, civets to your farm.. You can't blame these animals,they are just following their instincts in search of food.
