missioner:why u no go read and understand before commenting. 1year is for each count, amounting to 6 years for 6 counts. In the case where he pays the fine, he will have to a pay 100000 naira, bond fee indicating that, he will be of good behaviour for 1 year. |

Financial crime becomes more attractive when you only pay back only a fraction of what was stolen. The judgement would make sense if the excess salary was also refunded. |

Option of 40k fine? EFCC should investigate judgements like this and possibly the prosecution as well bc they perpetuate corruption. Ghost worker syndrome is such a big problem in Nigeria. How does this serve as a deterrent? They might as well have said, you are guilty but we are letting you go. This judge obviously compromised ought to be ashamed of himself. |
